As you probably know, for the last few days Madonna has been in Malawi, where two of her children, David and Mercy, were born. Yesterday she broke ground for a multimillion dollar school that she is funding called The Raising Malawi Academy for Girls, which is set for completion in two years, and will educate 500 girls.

Today, Madonna and her children Lourdes, Rocco, David, and Mercy had a very emotional visit at the orphanage where David lived before the singer adopted him in 2006.

Gossip Cop hears that a woman named Lucy Chipeta, who is the director of the Home of Hope Child Care Center, showed Madonna and her kids around the orphanage, including a stop at David’s actual crib.
