Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild” Video Deemed Too Sexy for YouTube

Madonna’s “Justify My Love” was too hot for T.V. back in the ’90s, and now one of her new music videos is too hot for YouTube.

The singer’s racy video for “Girl Gone Wild” has been banned from open view on YouTube for being deemed too sexually explicit.

The video, which features some male nudity and orgy-like scenes, is now restricted only to users 18 and older.

According to the New York Post, YouTube chiefs have told Madonna that she must “edit out shots of bare bottoms, a man rubbing his crotch and an implied masturbation scene where a man gyrates before a mirror” in order for the video to be made available to all.

Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Madonna for comment.

    She is in great shape and I do like this song… BUT… it’s not very sexy – nor believable – to see a bunch of naked & half-naked GAY men pawing all over her. Or does she mean to imply that the gay men are the “Girls Gone Wild”? Hmmmm.

    Every time I see a music video of Madonna, I just feel embarrassed for her. There comes a time when everyone must accept that they are no longer in their 20′s or 30′s. I wonder how much digital altering it took to get her to show up on camera, 20 years younger then she is. She is so desperately trying to hold on to her youth that she feels she needs to sing about girls gone wild, and make a video with naked men half her age. It’s just sad and kind of pathetic. Surely at 50 years old she would have something more meaningful to sing about? I think it’s time for her to hang up her leotard, put on some clothes, take a long hard look in the mirror and just accept that she is no longer in her prime.

    this video was no more sexual than 90 percent of the vids on the tube today, im wondering if it was more to do with the religious connotations ,(half naked dancer wearing a a crown of thorns) i think its all free publicity as everyone has been searching for this “banned” video. what a better way to get plays

    I personaly think that Madona has a great voice – I do not think she is ugly but I do not think she is pretty – what I really believe however, is that she uses God as a punt to kick off her songs Which is really really sad and the fact that everything since the frist time she took the stage has alway always been sexual – by now you would think that she could get more serious and sensual Grow Madona and be a woman sing a song and sell it without sexing it up and leave God and religion out it too.

    Well actually the song is called Girl Gone Wild, meaning it’s only her who has gone wild. I doubt she is talking about the gay men.

    I actually disagree. I don’t think that the title of the song really matches the video, which a lot of artists are doing recently. I think she’s showing contemporary issues surrounding the controversy of religion and homosexuality, HENCE the Adam and Eve and Jesus references in the video. Also, she kinda copies the Ecstasy of St. Theresa statue and even recites an altered version of the Act of Contrition.

    I don’t mind the fact that she’s dancing provocatively with younger gay men. She’s had a super huge career and she looks damn good for her age. As for if you like the song or not, it really doesn’t matter. The charts seem to show that many people DO!
