Is Madonna “At War” With Her Ex?

“Madonna and ex Carlos Leon are at war over how to raise their teenager daughter, Lourdes,” claims Star magazine.

A so-called “insider” tells the tab that the former couple’s 13-year-old daughter is taking after her mom, much to dad’s chagrin.

“Madonna is paving the way for Lourdes’ showbiz career, and it’s infuriating him,” the insider alleges. “They have been battling for the past several months, and the fighting is only getting worse.”

The latest conflict?

Lourdes’ reported enrollment in LaGuardia High School of Music & Art, where she’ll study drama.

Says the source, Leon “is against her pursuing an entertainment career until she’s older,” and he also prefers “less Kabbalah and more Catholicism in Lourdes’ life.”

And what does the Material Girl say about all this?

According to the insider, “the more Carlos fights her on the decisions, the more she lets Lourdes run wild.”

Hmm.

So, Madonna and Carlos have been co-parenting successfully for nearly fourteen years, but all of a sudden there’s “a war”?

Not quite.

Star‘s claim is “completely untrue,” a rep for Madonna tells Gossip Cop.
