Madonna Tweets Britney Spears: “Please Come On Stage and Kiss Me Again”

It’s been nine years since Madonna and Britney Spears famously kissed at the MTV Video Music Awards, but that doesn’t mean The Material Girl has moved on from their intimate encounter.

In a lighthearted exchange late Wednesday, after Spears tweeted at Madonna, “love the new album – every single song is incredible,” the veteran singer replied, “please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you!!”

“Tempting,” Spears coyly answered, prompting Madonna to tease, “Are you gonna make me work for this?”

“Why of course!” responded Spears.
