Madonna Booed At New Orleans Concert For Telling Audience To “Vote For Obama”

Truth rating: 10

VIDEO

(YouTube)

Madonna was booed at her New Orleans concert on Saturday, and not for some of the usual antics on her “MDNA Tour.”

VIDEO BELOW

The singer was heckled when she asked, “Who’s registered to vote?” followed by “I don’t care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama.”

That prompted several concertgoers to boo Madonna as well as to walk out of her concert.

She quickly tried to recover by adding, ”Seriously, I don’t care who you vote for… Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote.”

Let’s leave politics out of entertainment…..

  • http://www.facebook.com/windy.horses Windy Horses

John Lennon was political and brave. Madonna obviously backed down after the boos and walk outs. If you are going to be an entertainer and political-then stand your ground. Don’t whimp out.

  • Kyle4

People go to see her perform music, not to spout her political views . She should leave that for talk shows.

  • D. Martin

    Agreed.

  • D. Martin

Who a person votes for is a personal choice. I’m betting half the celebrities that back a candidate don’t even have a clear understanding of their platforms. I agree with Kyle4. The fans paid for a ticket to see her perform — not for advice on who SHE thinks they should vote for.

  • YoursTruly

FIRST OF ALL SHE SHOULD HAVE RETIRED YEARS AGO, SECOND, SHE IS A HORRIBLE MOM FOR GETTING NAKED AT CONCERTS (HOW AWKWARD THAT MUST BE FOR HER DAUGHTER) THIRD EVERYONE SHOULD KEEP POLITICS TO THEMSELVES. ALL IT DOES IS START ARGUMENTS, PEOPLE LOSE FRIENDS, AND NOW THIS WRINKLED OLD WASHED-UP POP STAR HAS LOST FANS. WHAT’S NEXT? RIOTS IN THE STREETS? THE MC RIB SANDWICH MAKING ANOTHER RETURN? GANGHAM STYLE BECOMES THE OFFICIAL DANCE OF THE UNITED STATES? JUST SAYING. :)

  • O

Haha she obviously didn’t know she was when the south which is always republican wrong state to say that in

  • Chic

Louisiana is never for democrats. If she says that in the north east she would get a standing ovation

  • DL

I am so tired of seeing your little pic and comments on everything on this website. If you are disabled and home bound then that’s understandable otherwise please get a life STAT. You’re trashing Madonna for offering her fans her opinion and you are giving your opinion thousands of times on this website when NO ONE wants to read it. Stop being a hypocrite and get away from your computer and live your life around others and stop hiding behind your computer.

  • D. Martin

LMAO!! And yet here YOU are!

  • Why Not?

I heard she got booed in France for the same reason, blabbering on about politics during a show instead of performing. No one cares Madonna. Your political views are NOT relevant and if you want to spout them at a concert, then do it at a FREE concert you put on, not one where your fans have paid tons of money to watch you sashay your aging ass all over the place.

  • DL

whats your point? im here for the Madonna article, you dont see me having 3k+ posts.

  • J

Actually Louisiana is a very democratic state.

  • JRL225

Did the 10 idiots who left the show not know her political affiliation? Besides, Mitt Romney believes he is an alien from the planet Kolob. Seriously, did you know that? He is a cult member! Look it up. Its so interesting how suddenly religion doesn’t matter to this country.

  • Guest

This woman should be old enough to know its not cool to try and push your views on everyone. They’ll vote for whoever they see fit

  • D. Martin

    You’re counting posts — and I don’t have a life? Pfffftt!

  • FNWJPIEAVN ICLGWLVLLWQV

The singer was heckled when she asked, “Who’s registered to vote?”
followed by “I don’t care who you vote for as long as you vote for
    Obama.”

  • OHk

She should be boo’d for her stupid music as well. Yuck.

  • jenny

i think is her personal opinion and she is entitle to say it. i cant see a reason for ppl to take this so personal, bc ppl already know she does that at some point during the concert, so why get so mad? why walk out of the concert bc she has a different opinion than you? that’s kind of hypocritical and childish!

  • jenny

why? bc theryre so stupid they cant talk about something this serious?

  • http://twitter.com/kylew1973 Kiwi73

She has always been, and always will be about pushing buttons. She said to vote for Obama, she got press because of it. Calculated? Isn’t everything she does?

  • Chris

DL, leave her be. Don’t read her posts or don’t come here if you don’t like then, cripes…stop your whining.

Unfortunately, those concert goers had no choice to hear what Madonna expounded upon. They paid good money and then were subject to that.

  • chris

People shouldn’t keep their politics to themselves….people just have to learn to respect others opinions as just that “opinions”.

What’s stupid is she made those who paid for music listen to politics. Dumb.

  • Taylor

I Would bet the people booing were plants trying to make a point. No biggie probably sent by Mitt supporters.

  • Me

I wonder what percentage of “stfu Madonna and other celebrities” people are the same ones who screamed “FREE SPEECH” when Anne Coulter called Obama a retard. I betcha more 50% also said “she has a right opinion FREE SPEECH” as well.

  • twilightisnumberone

It’s easy for these celebrities to support Obama since they’re rich and have jobs. Talk to the millions who have lost their jobs the past 4 years and you will get a different opinion.

  • Regina1180

Funny, she’s entitled to share her opinion, but the ones that shared their opinion by booing and walking out are childish? Now THAT is the definition of hypocritical.

  • Rose

It is obvious that Hollywood is pro Obama. (no I am not pro Romney, I think we’re screwed) however you’d have to be blind to not notice we are being programmed to be ‘cool’ we must love Obama, and not notice the further dismantling of our constitution. This programming is the most obvious in our children. But when it’s ‘time’ the media will turn and go republican. All you have to do is chech out history. Good cop, bad cop.

  • anonymous

obama is known as an illuminati member too…WELL KNOWN…look it up! you’ll be stunned about his affiliates..

  • JRL225

Romney is a Mormon cultist. You might think you know what that means but look it up and you will be stunned to learn what it really means…

  • Realitycheck

Aren’t the rich the ones who aren’t going to benefit from voting Obama in? Isn’t Romney the one who wants to cut taxes on the rich and Obama raise them? Perhaps the celebrities who are voting Obama don’t care about their taxes and care more about women’s rights, education and humanity in general.

  • peppermintulip

I think the people who walked out are the stupid ones. I, for sure, wouldn’t walk out of a concert I probably paid a ton of money for just because the performer told me to vote a certain way. I’m sure there are country/western performers telling their audience to vote for Romney. Who cares. It’s not like she spent the whole show touting Obama.

  • Dirk the Impailer

People don’t PAY to see or read Anne Coulter (unless they buy her books — in which case they are buying them to specifically read her political comments).
People pay Madonna to etertain them with her music and dancing. They don’t pay her for political commentary.
On her own time, I fully support Madonna supporting Obama. She can go on Twitter, FaceBook, Letterman, etc, and say all she wants about politics — where people can ignore her or listen to her for FREE. But during an entertainment show, she needs to do just that — ENTERTAIN!!! It’s ripping off people that probably paid $75 or more a ticket to be preached to about politics.
    THAT is the difference!!!

  • Gerard

I will never understand why popculture and politics should go together,They just dont belong together.

  • mary mary

You have the right to vote your pick. I have mine. Calling people names is a waist of time. Mormons believe in Christ read the Bible and have additional ideas. We are electing someone that has background in business because honestly this country is screwed with career politicians. If you don’t agree fine with me.

  • The Truth

You got this wrong. It is the Rich that benefit if Mitt gets into office. The celebrities are well paid (yes) but if no one (middle class) comes to support them, then they lose. The middle class and the poor are the one’s that pay to come and support them not the rich. The Rich are not going to the movies or concerts they are to busy going to other countries, private viewing shows, and the theater and they probably pulled some strings to get free admission.

Mitt doesn’t care about the middle class… he even said so amongst his super rich peers. You have got to watch what people say and do behind close doors, they show their true colors when they think no one is watching. Keep in mind this coming from a point of view that has merit, I’m a young single woman in my child bearing years. I have been laid-off 2 xs in the last 4 years and believe me it was NOT Obama’s fault. It happen right after Obama got into office so the lay off was already in the works. I worked for very Republican companies. Believe me the Republicans do not care about the upper middle class, middle class, or the poor. They only care about the super rich…Mitt loses he doesn’t know the strong survive we know how to make things work. We work for what we have nothing is given to us we were born with platinum spoons in our mouth.

Most people don’t like Obama because of his policies is strictly has to do with the color of his skin. I don’t care about that I want someone in office that cares about all people…American Indian, Black, White, whatever rich, poor, gay, straight, male, felmale and that is OBAMA.

  • Chloe

Then they should expect that Madonna is a big supporter of Obama they know she was going to say that little speech as she has with all her concerts. These people that left the 10 people…were as someone else said Romney supports. Don’t like it leave she still got the money for the tickets so who loses?

  • JRL225

Good thing GOVERNOR Romney isn’t a politician. LOL. If I decided to
start a religion tomorrow and say we believe in Christ and read the
Bible only we also….worship dogs and cats. That would be considered a
cult to every Christian that I know. Mormonism is a cult. Next, I am
doing better than I was four years ago, so is my family and so are my
friends. I don’t know anyone who is unemployed and my company has had
openings for over a year, we pay great and we have had very few
applicants. I want to remodel my house and the best construction
companies here in Colorado tell me their next availability is 3 months
out. While my family and I are blessed and prospering, I wouldn’t blame
Obama if I wasn’t. Instead I would go find a job. Trust me, they’re out
    there!

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

    LOL!

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jackie-Debs/1330149028 Jackie Debs

Why do celebrities constantly feel they are qualified to preach about politics? As if anyone didn’t know she supported Obama. She can’t stand America, pretends to be British, she flashes her old sagging nipples, she is constantly vulgar and has had zero class in her entire life.

Sounds like a textbook liberal to me.

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

We have 2 clowns. Flip a coin. Whatever they say means nothing. I am indifferent to both of them.

  • D. Martin

    Exactly! And thank you Chris!

  • OhEdward-The Original

    Wow! You’re nuts!

  • cayuga flash

amen, and absolutely…let her do it on her own dime and her own time.

  • cayuga flash

    yawnnn,

  • cayuga flash

they CAN walk out over her nonsense AND get their money back…as a matter of fact, i am surprised, with all her antics–that she has not been sued..
if she’s there as singer and dancer, then great–that’s what they paid their money for…give them what they pay for..

  • cayuga flash

    yawnnnn.

  • cayuga flash

heard ya! i personally did not know she did this EVERY concert…maybe she should advertize with a disclaimer?!

  • cayuga flash

she did…they are no longer fans of her or her concerts. and why do you keep saying “10 people?” i expect that everywhere she’s performed, people get up, walk out, and get their money back…
it’s her own ‘good will’ she’s damaging…i would think…it’s just not a good idea to abuse your fans.

  • shpoop

yeah but we’re talking about a raging asshole with a God complex here, not just any old woman.

  • cayuga flash

what??? at a concert full of people? i cannot even imagine what would have happened if she didn’t pull it back in…there are some people that absolutely will not be pushed, not even…an inch…
there is passion in this subject from all sides–and it would be unfortunate if she found herself on the bad side of the outrage at her nerve…
politicize OUTSIDE the paid-for entertainment arena.

  • JRL225

    LOL

  • FelixTheCat

Im curious… how has obama been dismantling our constitution?

  • lezel

I get sick of celebrities acting like they are the politicians themselves.. Madonna should stick to her day job as should Matt Damon and every other actor or actress who thinks they can influence the public into voting. Voting is not meant to be a high school popularity contest, where all your little friends bully everyone else into voting for you. It’s pathetic. Yes people should exercise their right to vote but they should use their own mind and vote for the person they really want to see running their country. Note to Madonna, people wont take you seriously when you try and make political statements right after you just flashed your granny t!ts and a$s to the crowd. Go back to singing like a virgin.

  • lisa

To know the she is a regular must mean you’re around this website a lot more then you want to admit :) People do work from home you know

  • JMHO4

How dare YOU say “most people don’t like Obama because of the color of his skin”….that’s pretty presumptuous of you. I don’t care for Obama because of his POLICIES!! I am not a fan of Obamacare, I think it will do nothing but cripple this country. I don’t care for his spending habits…..HE has borrowed more and more money. HE lied when he promised to turn the economy around in 3 years, now he is begging for another 4 years to see his plan through……those are just a few of the reasons I don’t care for the man…

  • Cat

He’s a “Blah” man in the White House. That’s unconstitutional! (Yes, that’s sarcasm)

  • Cat

So what you’re saying is, Madonna doesn’t have a 1st Amendment right? NO ONE who knows Madonna doesn’t know about her political leanings, and if she wanted to espouse them on HER stage, then as true Americans, we should grant her that right. See, 1st Amendment rights aren’t only for moneyed corporations to buy our elections. It’s actually for us, too.

  • Cat

Exactly. But for some reason, this rational thought has eluded the firebreathers.

  • Cat

Bull. You don’t like that Black man in the White House, and unfortunately for you, your candidate’s surrogates have been making the point that it’s about race not policies all last week. You couldn’t tell me WHAT Romney’s policies are if you knew because Romney’s all over the place with his lies.

  • Cat

Bank accounts on the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, GERMNAY, Switzerland, and sending and benefiting from sending jobs to China. But Cons believe Romney is a true ‘Merican! Puh-lease!

  • D. Martin

Oh please! Can you read?! Read the GC story again. This has nothing to do with her 1st amendment right. This is about people paying their hard earned money to hear her sing and getting, “I don’t care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama.”

Now if she said,”Everyone be sure to vote because it makes a difference and it’s a privilege not all countries share” then that’s one thing. But she’s telling everyone who paid to see her that it’s okay to vote as long as you vote WITH her. It was inappropriate. And obviously some of her fans felt the same way because they walked out of her concert.

  • D. Martin

Very well said and just how I feel. LMAO at the last 2 sentences!

  • D. Martin

And it’s STILL inappropriate for her to tell fans that paid to see her — and probably stood a long time in line — who they can vote for. Jackie Debs is right.

  • D. Martin

Isn’t she being sued by some country for what she did at her concert? Didn’t she dress up as Hitler at a concert in Israel? I keep wondering what she was trying to say with that tactic.

  • D. Martin

Don’t even go there! Because you’re saying that anyone who does not stand behind Obama is racist. That is inexcusable.

  • D. Martin

As part of its investigation, Judicial Watch has been focusing on the Obama administration’s push to promote Obamacare using taxpayer dollars. Documents obtained through FOIA have revealed a massive taxpayer-funded multimedia campaign at the Department of Health and Human Services, designed to promote Obamacare and other HHS policy initiatives.

According to the records, the total cost of the campaign, which targets Obama’s electoral coalition, is authorized to reach as much as $200 million. Other sets of documents obtained by Judicial Watch demonstrated that the administration spent $3,184,000 in taxpayer funds to produce and air advertisements on national television in September and October of 2010, and spent $1,435,009 from October 2010 through February 2011 for online advertisements promoting Obamacare.

The advertising push targeted Obama’s electoral coalition, and suggests that the online advertising campaign was adjusted to accommodate web traffic patterns caused by the mid-term elections. Judicial Watch is continuing to investigate the implementation of Obamacare and other
initiatives at Health and Human Services.

    http://www.judicialwatch.org/projects/obamacare/

  • D. Martin

At one of her concerts she told everyone to be sure to vote for the “black muslim”. I think it may have been posted here on GC.

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Don’t get into that “word police” crap. Why can’t she say whatever she wants. It’s not like she gave a speech on it.

  • JRL225

Just saw a Romney commercial where this tool claims “millions of Americans have given up”. Really?? Well if that’s the case, please make way for those who are pursuing and achieving the American Dream everyday just as our immigrant ancestors did. Think they didn’t have it hard? You have no idea!

  • D. Martin

Mormonism is not a cult. The fact that you can say that shows how little you know. And the fact that you can even GO there shows how desperate you are. Your statements show you know nothing. Just another uneducated bigot.

  • D. Martin

Very well said Chris. Thank you.

  • bearsinneworleans

It’s her show! She can sing, act, talk about whatever she wants to. People should know by now that she’s always very controversial. If you don’t like like her show, don’ go!!!

  • **

If employers can tell their employees how to vote… well, then I see nothing wrong with Madonna telling her concert-goers who she supports.

  • **

Actually, up until this election season Billy Graham’s mainstream Christian organization labeled Mormonism a cult.

  • Camille

People paid to watch her perform, not to hear her talk about politics.

  • Rose

In case you don’t remember, section 1021 of the NDAA, which Obama signed into law on December 31 of last year, allows the government to lock up U.S. citizens indefinitely without a trial.

I am not pro Romney either. I could have given as strong an example of both parties acting in what is not the best interests of our country.

  • Just Doesn’t Matter

With this logic the concert goers should have told Madonna how to vote, they were paying her, basically her employers.

  • D. Martin

I don’t care. That doesn’t make it right.

  • D. Martin

Employers CAN’T tell their employees how to vote. It is an individual’s right to vote as they choose. And she’s not telling them who she supports — she’s saying it’s okay to vote as long as you vote with me. It’s like saying I respect your opinion as long as it is coincides with mine.

  • D. Martin

    Good point!

  • Juliette

I’m glad she put it out there. Any woman who isn’t voting for Obama is out of their mind.

  • Diogeron

She is in the South and her fan base is now older, white people. What does she expect? I was @ Bill Maher’s gig in Bloomington, IN last night, a full house where he received a standing ovation after making Mitt and his “magic underwear” the butt of his jokes for 90 minutes. The difference? Diversity of age, a well educated audience and an absence of racists.

  • **

Except many employers are telling their employees how to vote… something encouraged by Mitt Romney himself… here’s his quote:

“I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in
the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their
future in the upcoming elections. And whether you agree with me or you
agree with President Obama, or whatever your political view, I hope, I
hope you pass those along to your employees.”

Some recent examples of businesses instructing their employees how to vote include: Wynn Casinos,Westgate Resorts, Request Foods, Cintas, Rite-Hite, and ASG Software Solutions…

On a personal note, a family member of mine who works for a major U.S. insurance company recently attended a company-wide, mandatory meeting in which he was told it would be in everyone’s best interest to vote for Romney.

So, it seems many employers are heeding Romney’s advice and instructing their employees how to vote… slippery slope, don’t you agree?

  • **

And they did… she got booed, correct?

  • Cat

Yeah, I’ll got there because it’s the truth. Fact of the matter is, there is NO reason for any American to vote for Romney since Romney hasn’t produced a single specific on any of his plans. So yeah, using the powers of deduction it comes down to people NOT voting for President Obama ARE RACISTS.

  • Cat

Inappropriate? How about Ryan muscling his way into that soup kitchen for a photo-op – a soup kitchen that didn’t even give him permission to be there. But that’s ok for you TB*ggers, right? IOKIYAR, right?

  • Cat

Madonna’s 1st Amendment right, whether you like it or not, is sacred and she can bloody well espouse it wherever she wants to. Next time, you TB*ggers should send her a list of places where she’s not allowed to exercise her 1st Amendment right as an American citizen. People got their entertainment, for what they paid for. You people believe the 1st Amendment Right is only for corporations (Citizens United) and Rightwingers. Sorry, but that ain’t the case. Cry me a river already.

  • Samsawn

Most senior citizens feel if Obama gets elected, they will be taken care of….so I see why Madonna is so passionate about the election.

  • D. Martin

I might have agreed with you except for the quote, “And whether you agree with me or you agree with President Obama, or whatever your political view…”

He’s not telling them HOW to vote but TO vote. That’s quite a difference from telling people they HAVE to vote for a particular person.

  • D. Martin

I voted for Obama in the last election. And was glad he won. Now, I am not voting for him because it has nothing to do with his skin. And I don’t care what you think.

  • D. Martin

I have no idea what the TB term is but I’m betting it’s derogatory.

  • D. Martin

    *yawn*

  • **

Oh, please. The point is employers should not tell their employees how to vote… or encourage them to vote for a particular candidate… and that is what is happening.

Romney may have added that caveat about Obama, but to me at least, it’s clear what Romney was saying in that comment. He wasn’t asking corporate heads to simply encourage their employees to vote… he specifically said they should make it clear who to vote for if they want to keep their jobs, and their future livelihood.

But, hey, if you want to believe it’s fine for employers to encourage their workers to vote for a particular candidate, but have a problem with entertainers encouraging their fans to do the same… well, I guess that’s that, huh? I don’t get it… but, well, you’re entitled to your (fucked up) opinion.

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

I worked for him in 08. I even got some rednecks to vote for him which is quite something. His indifference to passing legislation he could easily have gotten through in the beginning has made me indifferent to him.

  • KnowledgeIsPower

Your right Cat, she does have a right to say what ever she wants, but that’s not what this story is about.

People paid money to hear her sing, not to be her captive audience while she forced her political views on them.
Had this been an entertainer telling the crowd to vote Romney or Johnson I’m sure you would be spewing liberal hatred on them without mention of the 1st amendment.
Just as Madonna has her right to free speech, others had the right to boo her and walk out.

Oh BTW, you say teabaggers as if it’s an insult. It’s just another name the the tolerant liberal left *insert eye roll* spews from their hate filled hearts against those that disagree with their agenda. They actually took their name in honor of the Boston Tea Party of 1773, in which angry American colonists dumped tons of tea into Boston’s harbor because they were mad at Britain for putting a tax on imported tea.

You know… those pesky colonists that went on to give you your first amendment right.

  • KnowledgeIsPower

Like he cared about the 4 Americans that were killed in Benghazi? How he continued to dishonor them by LYING for a month about it? How even today he REFUSES to give straight answers about what happened?
Your simple mind buys into what Obama is selling. Quit drinking the koolaid, it poisons your mind. And if Benghazi is any indication… Obama doesn’t give a crap if you live or die.

  • D. Martin

Re-read my post. And while you’re at it — stop putting words in my mouth. I wrote he – along with Obama – have been encouraging people TO vote — NOT who to vote FOR. You’re reading something into that statement because you choose to. Not because it’s there. You have an agenda. I get it.

  • D. Martin

Rednecks?! That IS something! LOL! I’m impressed! :)

  • KnowledgeIsPower

lol… Romney busted Obama for having accounts in the Cayman Islands and investments in the same Chinese Companies that Romney does on National Television! Obama is a scam artist. He got caught in lie after lie. But judging from your arguments, if you aren’t here posting ad nauseam, you are sitting wide eyed in front of the television soaking up every one of Obama’s lies.

A better use of your time would be to fact check the debates, you would be surprised at the lies your fuhrer told

  • KnowledgeIsPower

lol… of course it is. She’s just another foul mouthed, ignorant liberal that Obama counts on to vote and spread his lies.

If you keep giving her facts her head will explode. She wasn’t programmed to deal with reality.

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

So was I. I just kept talking. Ashamed now.

  • Cat

Yeah, that’s what the story’s about even if you don’t want it to be. Tough.
Madonna could care less if intolerant rightwingers walked out of her concert. You know who there are, right? Those pesky intolerant TeaBaggers so infested with rightwing propaganda from Fox “News” Channel and unwarranted racism that they can’t think rationally anymore? Yeah. Your ilk.
I wouldn’t be caught dead at any Meat Loaf or Ted Nugent concert, because *I’d KNOW* they were delusional Republicans from the get-go. Anybody who is surprised that Madonna is a Liberal, is a dunce, and they haven’t done their homework. DUH. She has a gay brother, and she’s been in business since the late 70′s. There’s no secret she, and every other a-list singer, actor, producer, director, and songwriters, are LIBERAL. They’d have the talent of a wet rag like Stallone and Schwarzenegger if they weren’t liberal, now wouldn’t they?
“TB*gger” isn’t an insult. It’s what the delusional corporate tools use to identify themselves, and the fact that you can even *think*, let alone, claim without anyone laughing you out of the room that Liberals are intolerant after Richard Mourdoch’s rape comment, Santorum, LyinRyan, Willard “47%” Romney, Xenophobic SB1070, and Ryan’s “take from the poor and give to the already obscenely wealthy” bill, is a joke.
As for the Boston Tea Party, learn your history and stop revising it. The 116 people who dressed up as Mohawk Indians were protesting the taxing for the profits of the RICH. You know? The exact opposite of the TeaBagger Party members who are being paid and have done the bidding of the rich.

  • Cat

Yeah lol. Willard Romney didn’t do squat. Willard got OWNED. He was so beat down that he agreed with everything President Obama said in the third debate. Willard got b**ch slapped good for all the lies he’s been trying to sell the American public.

Unlike President Obama, Willard actively loaned money from the government, bankrupted the companies, and sent people’s jobs overseas while making millions in profit for himself. He’s doing it *right now* in Freeport, Illinois. Didn’t Fox “News” Channel tell ya? That’s why Texas Gov. Rick Perry himself called draft-dodging Willard a “vulture capitalist” and by his own actions, he underscores it.

I know the facts, TB*gger. That’s why I’m not a Republican. The only lies I hear are coming in waves from the Rightwing and their misleaders. But you’re too busy sitting wide-eyed in front of Fox “News” Channel soaking up everyone of their Communist and Saudi paid for propaganda to even know you’re alive.

  • Cat

Tell that to Fox “News” Channel, the fact-free news channel that’s only good for Jerry Springer-type entertainment, but what over three million Americans actually believe is news.

  • Cat

    Sure you did.

  • Cat

If you’re pissed off about NDAA, then blame the Republicans for pushing it through Congress that included PAY FOR THE MILITARY. Now, had President Obama not signed the annual budget bill (which expires Dec. 2012 – and if you don’t like the bill VOTE STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC or there’ll be a repeat) you’d be here whining that he’s anti-troops because they and their families wouldn’t get paid. Cappiche? Please do your research. Sheesh.

  • Cat

She made a statement. She didn’t have the doors shut with armed TB*ggers at the door in tricorn hats with teabags dangling from the brim and told them they can’t leave until they pledge to vote for Obama. Get a grip. She was exercising her 1st Amendment right as an American citizen with a simple sentence. A couple of Righties decided to boo her, exercising their 1st Amendment right. That’s it. That’s all.

  • KnowledgeIsPower

lol… I can’t help but visualize you frothing at the mouth while running through the village looking to burn anyone doesn’t share your views. Guess you will have to continue to stereotype, name call and spew lies all over the internet to feel important. It seems the Leftists have become the ultimate bullies these days. How sad your life must be. Off to bed shortly, looks like I’ve got yet another idiot to support. Your checks in the mail.

  • KnowledgeIsPower

Could you be a bit more original. Oh and you do know that not everyone that disagrees with you is a Republican right? Did your script not cover that?

  • Cat

You should change your handle to “IgnoranceIsBliss” because it’s more fitting. I don’t froth, TB*gger. I crush with facts. It’s not that hard when debating a Rightie since it’s like debating a fifth grader. I’m not a Leftist. I’m an American and a Progressive. Look up those words sometime.
And I don’t need your support. I’m Asian not Caucasian which, as you of course know, are the highest earners in this country. Whites, on the other hand, make up the 70% of welfare recipients in this country. How about those facts.
Sleep tight, and thank this Californian born Asian for supporting your lazy behind.

  • Cat

If it posts as a Republican, it’s a Republican. The fact that you toss out the “supporting other people” Rightwing myth tells me all I need to know about your TB*gger arse.

  • Heidi

Amen to that sister, she has no class and flashing her ass at people who have their own opinion in I undemocratic and hipicritical of her to do!

  • Heidi

Go preach to the families who lost their sons after they begged Obama to help them and he said stand down soldier and went to Vegas! But hey obamas all about Hollywood and going on talk shows and events screw our nation celebrities are more iimportant to him so take your own advice and go check it out ,

  • Heidi

You are so on the nose with this one there is no reasoning with her!

  • Heidi

You are, soooo wrong the rich create jobs and thats how people support their families moron! When big companies go under then everyone looses their jobs and we end up where we are Obama style looser,

  • Heidi

You are so right and I feel so bad for those families that lost their sons, hope the trip to Vegas was worth it murderer!

  • Heidi

You are a pathetic person, I am married to a black person and I am offended you keep playing the race card, even my husband thinks Obama has done nothing but promote Hollywood, in fact he thinks he has let his own people down the worst, African Americans had the toughest time finding jobs , he created shit for this country not jobs”

  • Cat

You’re posting gibberish and lies. What the hell are you spewing about, families who lost sons after they begged Obama to help them. WTF was that supposed to happen? Get a grip, Heidi. You’re losing it.

  • Cat

I could care less if you’re offended that I point out racism where I see it. Really. Honestly. I promise you I won’t lose any sleep over it.

And just to give you a wake-up call, Heidi, being married to a black person doesn’t give you some special privilege to dictate what is and what isn’t allowed when it comes to pointing out blatant racism where I see it. To believe that is what’s pathetic.

There are 4-star General Blacks like Colin Powell who articulate why President Obama deserves re-election, and sell out TB*gger Allan West black men who spew venom worst than even I can. Considering what your husband thinks – according to you – he belongs in the latter group with the types that have that “Hollywood is eveeel” attitude. And they are a minority in a minority since 95% of Black people are going to cast their vote for President Obama.

Unemployment rates under African-Americans HAVE DROPPED. And just to edumacate you on how our government works, CONGRESS legislates domestic policy, not the president. The president is NOT a dictator, ‘member? Still, he’s put forward a comprehensive jobs bill – a REAL jobs bill entitled, “The American Jobs Act”. And guess what? Boehner and the TeaBaggers in the House shoved it aside. Not much the president can do if the House says NO all the time.

And if you really believe that President Obama hasn’t done anything for this country, you’re more delusional than I gave you credit for. Go edumacate yourself already. You can start by learning how your government functions – knowledge you’re clearly and sorely lacking.

  • D. Martin

So now you determine what is factual on the news and what isn’t? LMAO! How deranged!

  • D. Martin

    IDGAF what you think.

  • D. Martin

My daughter is Asian ( adopted from China) and I still don’t agree with your agenda.

  • D. Martin

    LMAO! Awesome post!

  • Mike

Liking Obama just because he is black is also racism.

  • Mike

In China 100% of the poor are Asian. Maybe some of our poor can move over there and try for the Chinese dream?

  • Mike

When I go see my accountant and pay for his services he does not tell me who to vote for, even though he has a first amendment right. He is respectful that I paid for his services and proceeds with the tasks I employed him for, regardless of his right to speak his mind. It’s called professionalism. It is what distinguishes people.

  • Mike

Liking Obama just because he is black is also racist

  • Mike

So if Obama stole my girlfriend in grade 9 and I refuse to vote for him because of that personal beef I am a racist?

You should work at Fox News, you just put everyone in a convenient category you disagree with. How democratic.

Is it not ironic someone was told to only vote Democrat…that sounds a not like a democracy.

  • Mike

Redneck? That is a racist term. You are using a derogatory statement that characterizes someone by the color of their skin. Obama wants everyone treated equal so please treat all derogatory terms the same for each ethnic group. If it is uncool to say the N word, it’s uncool to say the R word.

  • Cat

Yeah, you do. That’s why you respond each and every time I post. You’re just too transparent, TB*gger.

  • Cat

Didn’t see the study? The one that shows that Fox “News” Channel viewers know LESS than people who don’t even follow politics? To believe, even for a split second, that Fox “News” Channel has any credibility after it’s been debunked and embarrassed by just about every other corporate media, is what’s deranged. So . . .you believe Fox “News” Channel is factual then?

  • Cat

Sure is. Good thing people who prefer Obama over the corporate empty suit, Willard, like him for his policies and all the wonderful things he’s done and continues to do for this country, rather than voting *against* him for an empty-suit, unpopular MA ex-Gov who has zero policies but LOTS of bank accounts in the Caymans, Bermuda, Germany, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, rather than in the U.S.A.

  • Cat

Monkey see. Monkey do. Why am I not surprised?

  • Cat

Maybe they are, but that’s neither here nor there. In the United States, American-born Asians out-earn Whites by $10K per annum. What? Fox “News” Channel didn’t tell you about those stats? Tsk. Tsk.

  • Cat

And what agenda might that be, D?

  • Cat

Why can’t Madonna say whatever she wants? Well, it’s because the right to free speech is reserved solely for the AlwaysWrongRight, that’s why.

  • Cat

Then by that noble standard, you disagree wholeheartedly when CEOs, who have seen record-breaking, astronomical profits under President Obama, are now mailing their employees, threatening that if they vote for President Obama THEY’LL LOSE THEIR JOBS, right? RIGHT?

And, of course, you’re vehemently against Coal Mining CEO’s threatening their coal miner employees that if they don’t donate to Willard Romney, or stand as props at his rallies WITHOUT PAY, that they’ll be on the list for being fired, RIGHT?

And you absolutely are against Willard Romney himself, caught on tape, telling his fellow CEOs that they need to remind their employees who to vote for if they want to keep their jobs after November, correct?

So when you pit these unscrupulous who-to-vote-for-tactics in the real world against Madonna’s spontaneous words at HER concert, it kind of puts things in perspective, don’t it?

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

I live in redneck territory. I have respect for them. don’t bother me with PC rhetoric. I have read Zizek on that. Read Zizek on political correctness.

  • D. Martin

You’re right! Voting for anyone just because of the color of their skin is racist. And Cat has indicated as much. Guess she’s just racist.

  • D. Martin

You resort to calling people names just because you can’t sway them to your way of thinking. How right can you be?

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Madonna’s problem right now is that if she had said it 4 years ago when Bush was being replaced, she would have been cheered. Madonna has been on the cutting edge of things for decades, but she now appears very yesterday in her performances. The one in Paris and now this one. She has fallen out of touch wih the world we are living in right now and she doesn’t really know it. It is moving very fast and she doesn’t have a handle on it.

KnowledgeIsPower is close. Actually knowledge/power is a relation, inseparable. They feed each other. They cannot be separated. So it should be: knowledge/power

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Unfortunately or fortunately you cannot crush with facts. They don’t stick to teflon. They have no effect on beliefs. You can know something to be but if you don’t believe it then it is moot.

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Well me too. I campaigned for him and now I won’t vote for him.

2 clpwns sitting on a pin
Which one will I impale thin?

Both are hopeless. But this is good. They are both as hopeless as the president on the screen in Eric Packer’s limo. DeLillo has said it all in Cosmopolis.

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

Hey D if it is on the news that means it’s a fact. Don’t you know the game? LOL!

  • D. Martin

    *yawn*

  • D. Martin

    You have a point.

  • D. Martin

Umm…Mike — Redneck is just another word for a country person that’s a hard worker and proud. Their necks are red because they work in the sun. In Texas being a Redneck is actually a compliment. Remember the phrase from that country tune not long ago? “I’m a redneck woman, I ain’t no high class broad”. Rednecks are hardworking country folk who are set in their ways and very proud and grateful for everything they get.

  • Cat

No. I’m not calling anyone names. TB*gger was the proud name the misguided Tea Party members chose for themselves. Just keeping it real, D.

  • Cat

Considering how high up she’s become, I can understand that she’s out of touch with the world – like Willard. Yet there are millions of Americans ready to cast their ballot for this charlatan even though he has been proven to be a liar and out of touch American elitist again and again and again. The simple fact that Madonna is still a Democrat and Liberal despite her astronomical wealth and fame should be lauded, not denigrated.

That said, I never knew there was an expiration date on one’s freedom of speech. Madonna exerted her right to opine freely and a few in her audience have given as good as they got. If people are going to patronize her and attack her for that then they should do the same for those who booed, right?

  • Cat

After you’re finished yawning, how about answering the question, D?

  • Cat

No., It means it’s either propaganda, entertainment, or headlines. However, secular sources that require you to actually READ, makes or breaks the credibility of the reporting.

  • D. Martin

I watch a lot of news shows. What is your question? Whether Fox News is factual? Any news show can be wrong about something can’t they?

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks

    Unfortunately

  • http://twilightirruption.blogspot.com/ abbeysbooks
