While some members of Britney Spears and Jason Trawick’s families will be celebrating their engagement tonight at Paris Resorts in Las Vegas, one person who will be sidelined is the singer’s mom Lynne Spears.

When Gossip Cop reached out to her, Lynne said she’s battling a bad case of the flu, but thinks it’s “all wonderful” that her daughter is tying the knot to Trawick.

As reported earlier today, Spears and Trawick got engaged on Thursday night after two years of dating.

Trawick popped the question with a Neil Lane engagement ring that he and the designer had been working on for “a while.”
