CLAIM: Angelina Jolie Upset About Brad Pitt “Crush” on Lupita Nyong’o
The National Enquirer’s “sources” are making up stuff about Angelina Jolie again. According to the outlet, which has track record of reporting on Jolie that’s so ghastly it almost defies description, Brad Pitt allegedly has a “crush” on 12 Years a Slave actress Lupita Nyong’o, and it’s “landed him in hot water” with Jolie.
Pitt has “gone gaga” for Nyong’o, claims the Enquirer, which explains that the actor-producer “let the cat out of the bag” with his praise of the actress at a recent awards gala. When Pitt later flew to Australia to reunite with Jolie and their children on the set of Unbroken, trouble ensued. “He wasn’t welcomed with open arms,” says a so-called “source” for the Enquirer. “Angelina read him the riot act when he arrived.”
What did she say, according to the tabloid that’s been manufacturing this nonsense for years? “She told him that he didn’t need to make his ‘crush’ on Lupita so obvious to the entire world,” explains the mag’s source, although it’s not clear whether this person was hiding in a closet or under the bed when he or she supposedly heard this conversation that never happened.
The Enquirer insider says that Pitt and Nyong’o were very close at the Producers Guild Awards event, remarking, “If you didn’t know better, you would have thought Brad and Lupita were girlfriend and boyfriend.” Yes, that must be why a grand total of ZERO other outlets covering the awards reported on the pair allegedly looking like a couple. In any case, the fake “source” behind this fake story tells the Enquirer, “Brad’s fixation with Lupita isn’t sitting well with Angie. Despite his devotion to her and their children, Angelina can’t let go of the nagging worry that Brad is on the prowl for the next hot thing to come along in Hollywood.”
This is just a case of the Enquirer being “on the prowl” for any story linking Pitt to another woman. He made a movie, it featured Nyong’o, and she did good work in it. He acknowledged her good work. That’s it, period.
A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer story is “ridiculous.”
