Lucy Hale Cancels Tour Due To Vocal Strain
Lucy Hale has canceled her tour. The singer and “Pretty Little Liars” star made the announcement on Friday, citing vocal strain. She’d been set to hit several cities in 2015 on her Road Between Tour, in support of her recent studio album by that name.
“Words can’t describe how disappointed I am for having to cancel something we were all looking forward to,” Hale wrote on Instagram. “Your support of my music has made me so happy and you’ll never know how grateful I am for you. I am going to follow through and take the advice not to embark on the tour at this time to prevent further damage. I love you all and thank you for your understanding.”
When a concerned fan tweeted at Hale in confusion over what had happened, the singer replied, “I’m okay!! Just dealing with vocal strain.” When another supporter asked for confirmation that the whole tour had been shelved, Hale replied, “Yes :( We had to cancel all the upcoming dates.”
The Road Between Tour was scheduled to hit East Coast markets like New York, Boston and Philadelphia in January. It was Hale’s first headlining tour. Her album, including the track “Lie A Little Better,” was released back in June. Gossip Cop wishes Hale a speedy recovery.
