Louis Tomlinson And Zayn Malik Seemingly FEUD On Twitter After Naughty Boy Posts New Photo
Louis Tomlinson and Naughty Boy are again feuding on Twitter after the producer posted a new photo of himself with Zayn Malik. More shockingly, however, are tweets purportedly from Malik harshly calling out his former One Direction band mate.
On Wednesday morning, Naughty Boy posted a picture he took with Malik (see below), and wrote the caption, “Replace this.” Not only were fans immediately upset about the photo, but the text was interpreted as a slam against One Direction, considering Malik’s controversial exit from the band in March. Tomlinson took to Twitter a short time later to shade Naughty Boy for the post, tweeting, “Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha! Some people still do HA!”
Not surprisingly, Naughty Boy was quick to fire back, writing to Tomlinson directly, “@Louis_Tomlinson and some people can’t even sing.. but who’s complaining when there’s auto tune eh,” complete with a emoji wearing sunglasses. The One Direction singer pointedly replied, “Jesus forgot you were such an in-demand producer…. How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else’s career?”
Naughty Boy then responded again. “@Louis_Tomlinson Yeah how does it feel mate? You’ve been doing that for the last five years… I’ve got Emeli Sande and Sam smith on my CV,” he wrote. Tomlinson responded, “@NaughtyBoyMusic good for you , well done !! I think we’ve done alright in terms of sales and I’ve happened to write on most. Keep trying!”
It didn’t take long for Directoners to get “#TOMLINSONSLAYSAGAIN” trending worldwide and in the United States, but then they were thrown a curve ball. In the midst of the battle, Malik’s Twitter account not only retweeted the photo Naughty Boy shared, but someone using the account tweeted, “@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?”
Fans are currently debating whether Malik actually blasted his close friend like that, just weeks after paying tribute to him and his other One Direction “brothers” at the Asian Awards, or if Naughty Boy has access to the singer’s account and tweeted the slam himself. Not surprisingly, Naughty Boy promptly retweeted the tweet.
As Gossip Cop reported, Tomlinson previously ripped Naughty Boy in late March, after he posted a fan-made video celebrating the collaboration in the wake of Malik quitting One Direction and hinting at a solo career. There have been minor dustups since then, but things definitely exploded on Wednesday. And, as of this posting, no one — not Malik, not Tomlinson, not Naughty Boy — has tweeted again since the Malik message. Gossip Cop will have updates.
