Did Louis Tomlinson respond to Justin Bieber’s diss with some shade of his own? That’s one interpretation of a new Snapchat video. Watch below.

As Gossip Cop reported, One Direction and Bieber are set to battle it out for Billboard chart supremacy when they each release new albums on November 13. It isn’t that common for two artists who arguably have a similar fan base to go head to head on the same date. And while it’s still more than a month away, there seems to be some brewing tension.

On Tuesday, as Gossip Cop noted, Bieber filmed a Snapchat clip in which he says into the camera, “The face you make when you come out with an album the same day as Justin Bieber,” before making a shocked and frightened look. The implication, of course, was that competitors, like One Direction, should be scared about releasing a record on the same date. And many accused Bieber of cockily kicking off a feud.

Now it seems Tomlinson may have responded on behalf of his band. On Wednesday, the group filmed a number of Snapchat clips during their London concert. In one, Tomlinson says into the camera, “That face you pull when you’re playing the last night at the O2,” and then makes a look similar to the one Bieber had done. The O2, of course, is one of the world’s most famous venues, and One Direction is now coming off a whopping six shows there, all performed in the last week.

Many are now taking Tomlinson’s clip as a response to Bieber because of the similar language and facial expression, and interpreting the British singer’s statement as gloating about One Direction’s success when Bieber hasn’t toured in years. Check out the video below, and tell us what you think. Something tells us this will not be the only social media go-round before November 13…
