Lori Loughlin: Fuller House “Only Made Deals With Half The Cast” (VIDEO)
Lori Loughlin, Aunt Becky on “Full House,” is throwing a little cold water on the unbridled joy brought on by the confirmation of the beloved sitcom’s Netflix revival with a “Fuller House” spinoff series. On Tuesday’s “Access Hollywood Live,” the actress said producers “only made deals with half the cast,” and that she’s currently in limbo, along with other key members of the original show. See the video below.
“They made deals with Candace [Cameron Bure], Jodie [Sweetin], and Andrea [Barber]. I believe they just closed [John Stamos’] deal. I don’t have a deal. Dave [Coulier] doesn’t have a deal, Bob [Saget] — we’re all in negotiations,” Loughlin is quoted as saying. Will she return? “I don’t know.”
Loughlin explained, “They only made deals with half the cast, but not the other half.” And it’s not guaranteed that she’ll return. “I think we would all like to come back if the powers that be are fair to all of us,” said the star. She added, “We want to be there. We want to come back. It’s up to them. It’s not on us. It’s now on them.”
As for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? “I don’t know that they want to do it,” said Loughlin, explaining that the Olsens have turned away from acting and toward fashion. “Maybe they’re up for it. I have no idea.” Of course, only one Olsen is needed to play Michelle Tanner. Gossip Cop will have updates on the casting. Watch the video from “Access Hollywood” below.
