Snooki Debuts Baby Boy Lorenzo! (PHOTO)

Snooki’s newborn son Lorenzo is making his official debut on the cover of People’s new issue.

The new mom, who welcomed her “little meatball” just a week and a half ago after 24 hours of labor, tells the magazine that parenthood is “a different kind of love that I never felt before.”

“I’m a new person,” Snooki says, adding that the party-heavy lifestyle she is known for “is long gone.”

Also in the accompanying interview, Snooki’s fiance, Jionni LaValle, reveals the origins of their son’s name, explaining, “We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo.”

And the baby boy gets his middle name, Dominic, from the “Jersey Shore” star’s late uncle.

“I did it for my dad,” she tells People.

Lorenzo will have his TV debut on the upcoming second season of “Snooki & JWoww,” which was recently renewed.

    why now the kids not even 2 weeks old people lowered their standards to accept pics of Lorenzo who sure is cute all babies are but when you’re mother is a two bit fake Italian hooker you shouldn’t be paraded around on the cover of a reputable entertainment magazine like People. If the magazine had done the same when Melissa Newman had her kids it wouldn’t have mattered because she’s actually a star and moreover the child [middle] of two enormous ones with whom the mag is/was friends. for example if Rihana eloped the same week Lissy’s mom were to pass away people would have the death as the main cover story while Rih’s wedding would be a minor corner pannel story because People knows a large section of their readers admire Ms Woodward’s work not ony on stage/screen but for charitable causes

    @Kim I’m not but a long shot and you don’t have to like what I said either it’s a free country. and what I said about if Rihanna Eloped and Joanne Woodward passed in the same week people would have her death as the cover not Rih’s wedding just look at the October 13th 2008 cover her dad’s death is the main story and Scarlett Johannson and Ryan Renyolds wedding is one of the corner pannel stories

    95% of people out there do all the things Snooki did and act the way Snooki did before they had kids , thats why its called “growing up” I’m sure she’ll be a great mother .
