“Lopez Tonight” Canceled; Last Show Thursday

TBS has canceled “Lopez Tonight,” the late-night talk show hosted by George Lopez.

The final episode will be Thursday.

“TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight,” says the network in a statement.

“We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air.”

Last year, “Lopez Tonight” was pushed to a later time slot to make room for Conan O’Brien‘s new TBS show.

    This sucks! Lopez Tonight is an AWESOME show. George should shop around for a different network. What killed it was Conon O’Brien taking over his spot. Damn Conon!!!

    Yeah, I liked George Lopez’s show too. It was entertaining and he is really funny. I just think that this completely bites the big one that he is being cancelled. I am not particularly fond of the Conan O’Brien show, I only tune in when there is nothing else to watch.
