Joseph Gordon-Levitt has to kill his future self (Bruce Willis) in the time-travel thriller Looper.

It’s a pretty cool premise: The mob, in possession of black market time travel, whacks enemies by sending them 30 years back in time (to our present), where a hit man is waiting to take them out.

Gordon-Levitt’s “looper” murderer is doing fine until the day he’s asked to end his own life.

Emily Blunt, Paul Dano and Jeff Daniels are also featured.

The movie hits theaters in September.
