Who Was Eliminated First on Dancing With The Stars Season 19?
“Dancing with the Stars” had its first season 19 elimination in a special Tuesday night results show. As Gossip Cop reported, 13 couples made their debut on Monday’s premiere, with Mark Ballas’ partner Sadie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” shocking everyone with her moves, and “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” star Alfonso Ribiero and partner Witney Carson stealing the show with the “best” performance of the night.
But despite everyone only dancing just one routine so far, the roster had to be cut down by one pair. Based on the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes, it was revealed Betsey Johnson & Tony Dovolani and Lolo Jones & new pro Keo Motsepe were the Bottom Two.
In the end, Jones and Motsepe were eliminated. The Olympian had a disastrous first dance, which she later blamed on missing a cue, and had received the second-lowest score of the night with 22 points.
It’s a major disappointment for Motsepe, who was in his very first season on the show. Johnson, who had dealt with a technical wardrobe malfunction during her routine, had actually scored worse with Dovolani, getting a 20. That means it’s likely audience votes, or a lack thereof, led to Jones’ elimination, but the athlete argued that she, and not Johnson, deserved to go home based on performance.
