“The Facts of Life” star Lisa Whelchel will soon learn the facts of surviving on a deserted island.

The former sitcom star has signed on to compete in “Survivor: Philippines,” it was announced on Monday.

Whelchel, a longtime fan of the show, successfully campaigned for a chance to join the reality competition.

She’ll face off against 14 others, including former baseball star Jeff Kent, and stands to win $1 million.

The actress, who appeared on “The Facts of Life” from 1979 to 1988, was last seen at the 2011 TV Land Awards, where she and her former co-stars received the Pop Culture Award.
