CLAIM: Lisa Marie Presley “Thrilled” Riley Keough “Called Off” Alex Pettyfer Wedding

Lisa Marie Presley is “secretly thrilled” that her daughter Riley Keough “called off her engagement” to Alex Pettyfer, reports the National Enquirer.

According to the tabloid, “the wedding is off” after Keough discovered that Pettyfer “cheated on her with a sexy lingerie model,” and Presley is happy because she “never approved of the British hunk.”

“Lisa Marie could so easily say, ‘I told you so,’ but she’s holding her tongue because she wants to be there for Riley,” explains a so-called “close family friend.”

The “source” tells the Enquirer, “Riley was devastated when she heard Alex cheated on her in July with model Chelsea Heath, but for Lisa Marie, it’s the best thing that could have happened.”

Uh-huh.

Two tiny problems.

First, Pettyfer NEVER cheated with Heath, with Heath herself slamming the rumor as “bulls**t.”

And, as Gossip Cop reported, Keough and Pettyfer have NOT broken up.

So the Enquirer’s whole story about Presley’s alleged delight over a split that did not happen is completely bogus.

We’re shocked.
