Lisa Ling: Caitlyn Jenner “Should Be A Woman Longer” Before Criticizing Hillary Clinton (VIDEO)
Lisa Ling slammed Caitlyn Jenner on Thursday for accusing Hillary Clinton of not caring about women’s issues. The television personality insisted that the transgender reality star “should be a woman a little longer” before making such comments. Watch the video below.
As Gossip Cop reported, Jenner bashed Clinton on Sunday’s season 2 premiere of “I Am Cait,” saying that the Democratic presidential candidate “could care less about women,” and only “cares about herself.” Though it had nothing to do with Ling directly, she weighed in on the comments when stopped by a TMZ paparazzo.
“I’m a Hillary supporter,” Ling said after being asked who she was voting for in the upcoming presidential election. When the cameraman informed her of Jenner’s remarks, the TV host replied, “I mean, that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. She should be a woman a little longer before she makes those kinds of decisions.”
As Gossip Cop also noted in our “I Am Cait” recap, Jenner and her transgender friends embarked on a bus tour around the country, with one of their planned stops being a Democratic presidential debate. “That’s the last place I want to be,” the lifelong Republican admitted, before acknowledging, “If we’re unfortunate enough to get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side.” Watch Ling slam Jenner over her criticism of Clinton below.
