Apprentice’s Dayana Mendoza Slams Costar Lisa Lampanelli For “Hispanic” Slur

Anyone watching “Celebrity Apprentice” knows Lisa Lampanelli and former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza do not get along, but the comedienne went a bit too far during a recent radio interview in which she called the Venezuelan beauty a “sp*c.”

While on Sirius XM, Lampanelli acknowledged Mendoza is one of her “arch-nemeses,” and called her “f**ckin’ retarded.”

But then she went on to say, “I actually would love to see [Dayana] giving birth. She’s a sp*c! She’s going to do it f**king soon, anyway. She’ll be knocked up before the end of the week.”

Mendoza, however, isn’t taking the comic’s on-air cracks in stride, calling Lampanelli’s comments racist.

“I understand that it’s Lisa’s job to make fun of people for a living,” she told the Huffington Post, adding, “If poking fun at me can help her sell tickets to her shows, no problem, I am happy to help her put food on her table. However, when she uses racial slurs, she is not only targeting myself but degrading an entire Hispanic culture.”

    I have no respect for Lisa, especially after these comments. It’s bad enough to call someone “brain-dead” and “useless”, but to use racial slurs? That is too far. If she’s trying to get me to stop liking Dayana, it’s not working. Dayana’s comments show she is a much more mature person at 23 then Lisa is at 40 something.

    The key is to ignore people like Lisa. She is mean and cruel, probably because that’s how she was treated growing up. Her comments about Hispanics pale to what she says about people with special needs and their moms. She makes me ill and I just shut her off and write to the stations that allow her to spew her garbage. There is a special place in hell with her name on it.

    Guess what, Lisa? I’m half-Hispanic, and I’m older than Dayana by two years, but I’ve never been pregnant, and the only woman I know in my family who had a baby at a young age is my mother, and she was already married.

    Dayana is a great model for people to follow, inspiring smart and kind. Lisa makes me feel embarrassed to be human and sad for the state of the world. She is so obviously insecure about her looks, it is sad to see such a grown woman lash out in such a weak and pathetic way, over and over again. Wow. Wow.

She’s the worst type of human being — on the attack of Dayanna since Day 1 because she was an attractive woman. Hoping Dayana makes it to the finals and Lisa is fired tonight!

    Yes, there is a way to be nasty without being cruel if you’re a comedian. Her humor is over the edge, too cruel and hurtful to be funny. She’s been in the business a long time though, so obviously has fans that are keeping her in the money.
