Lindsey Vonn Slams Overly-Thin Models: “Girls That Skinny Are Actually Fat”
Lindsey Vonn is slamming overly-thin models, saying girls “that skinny” are very unhealthy and are “actually fat.”
The Olympic skier told Women’s Wear Daily at New York Fashion Week, “I’ve been to a lot of photo shoots and I see these girls that are just really thin. They’re not healthy. They don’t work out.”
Vonn, who attended the Red Dress Collection show to raise awareness about women’s heart disease, shared, “It may look good in a magazine but it’s not actually healthy. And girls who are that skinny are actually fat. You can see the cellulite on their legs and on their butts.”
The athlete went on to offer, “You know I have cellulite too but I go to the gym and I try to eat healthy. I think that’s a better model for girls to look up to than skinny people who need to eat more.”
Vonn, who was forced to pull out of the Sochi Olympics due to her knee injury, added, “Staying active and being healthy is important.”
