Despite Lindsay Lohan’s claims that she handled Whitney Houston’s body bag during her court-ordered work at the Los Angeles County Morgue, the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office says it is not true.

As Gossip Cop reported, the actress made the comment in an interview with the Telegraph, in which she slammed the assignment to work there as “f’d up and inappropriate.”

Lohan is quoted as telling the British outlet: “Because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: ‘No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can. It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in L.A. and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston.”

Houston died in February 2012, around the time Lohan finished her obligations to the facility, a stint that had begun the previous fall. But an official for the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office tells TMZ that no one in Lohan’s probation program came into contact with Houston’s remains, let alone the starlet herself.

Furthermore, a body bag wasn’t even used during the brief time Houston’s body was at the location. It had been wrapped in plastic and kept under a sheet during the autopsy and transport to and from the morgue.
