Lindsay Lohan Found Unresponsive in Hotel Room; Actress Now OK [UPDATE]

Lindsay Lohan was initially unresponsive to wake-up calls at her hotel room on Friday, and paramedics were called to the scene as a precaution, but Gossip Cop has confirmed that the actress was not taken to the hospital.

The actress is staying at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, California as she films her Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick.”

Her rep explains to Gossip Cop, “Lindsay worked a grueling schedule the past few days. She was on set last night at 7 pm and worked through the night until 8 am this morning. She took a nap before shooting her final scene. Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution.”

The rep continues, “Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration. Lindsay was never taken to a hospital; reports to the contrary are false.”

We’re told, “She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon.”

Gossip Cop is relieved that Lohan’s hotel room drama was precautionary and not a real emergency.

UPDATE: Lindsay’s mom, Dina Lohan, tells Gossip Cop, “She’s fine! She worked [until] 6:15 a.m., long days but she is doing an amazing job.”

    Seems like it is much to do about nothing if you read what TMZ has reported but can’t say I’m shocked but yeah you would hope she can get her life straightened out in the mean time.

    I just heard this on the radio & Harvey Levy was talking about it. She was actually sleeping & they couldn’t wake her up. This shouldn’t have even been reported, but anything to make it seem like something is wrong with her.

    When I first read that she was found unconscious–it’s funny that it didn’t phase me or surprise me one bit. I am glad it’s a false alarm, but goes to show you have much, or in this case, how little people expect of her.

    Celebrities should complain about the long hours of working. That’s a shame! I am glad that she doesn’t have children. They wouldn’t keep me that late. I would set my time and when that time comes, I would leave. All of that could have been avoided.

    lol… bitter? ok you lohanapologist… you think what she does is GRUELING compared to people with real actual jobs? BTW i’m not a waitress. I’m independently wealthy and don’t have to work. My kid has a waitress job though. She went out last thursday night and was out till 2. Then she got up at 6 am to go to school. Went to school on friday then graduated friday night and stayed out all night at a grad party then came home and went to her waitress job on Saturday at 9 am and worked a split shift with no naps in a fancy hotel.

    I’m not usually a cynic but come on. The only way I would believe she was exhausted and dehydrated was if she was suffering from a bout of stomach flu. Maybe her reps should have put that story out not the over worked one that none of us believe. Everyone knows that actors spend tons of down time in their trailers between shoots. Despite all of this I do hope she gets her act together before it is too late.

    I’m not liking how this production is going about creating publicity for their TV movie. Stage car accidents, drug over doses. It’s just not right. I feel bad for Lindsay.

    are you high, too?? How does it help that she’s staying in my home, with regard to exhaustion??? She still has to get up, make her own meals, make her own bed, do her own laundry… Lohan doesn’t have to do a damn thing for herself.

    Agree and they take plenty of breaks in between shots where they can nap in their trailers people would be surprised at how much waiting around actresses and actors really do! And good job mum sounds like your daughter is on the right track!

    Do you have to be rude to everyone? You seem to be up on your high horse. Life is not so black and white, though I could see how you might think that, considering you are so wealthy you don’t have to work. When you get out there and start working yourself, then maybe you will be able to understand the exhaustion thing. From what I have read in your comments, Lindsey Lohan is actually doing more work then you are to support herself and maybe, just maybe she really in trying to clean up her act. Before you insinuate I’m high or an “lohanapologis”, I’m neither, I’m just a person who is out there day in day out working and struggling to support my child. I also tend to believe that everyone deserves a second chance. Unless your a perfect person then I don’t think you really have the right to judge someone else.
