Lindsay Lohan is the suspect in a criminal battery investigation after an alleged incident involving an adult female staffer at the Betty Ford Center.

The alleged victim wants Lohan prosecuted.

The Palm Desert Police Department received a call at 1:03 a.m. on December 12 regarding a possible battery incident at Lohan’s satellite house after she and her roommates returned home.

The staffer “desired prosecution,” a Palm Desert Police spokesman confirms to Gossip Cop.

Right now the alleged incident would qualify as a misdemeanor.

The investigation is ongoing.

    I would probably call the police too, just to get it documented. Everything and anything with that girl is turned into a drama and normally it is by one of her parents. The aide or whoever is probably worried about her job and rep.

    I smell an OJ Simpson coming here… If the criminal prosecution fails, there’s the civil suit, and if that fails there’s always the book deal… More profiteering from others fame, nothing more. I seriously doubt the incident even took place.
