CLAIM: Lindsay Lohan Stole Elizabeth Taylor Bracelet

“Lindsay Lohan Accused Of Stealing Elizabeth Taylor’s Bracelet During Biopic Filming,” reads the headline of a piece from RadarOnline.

According to a source for the webloid, while making “Liz & Dick,” Lohan became “very good friends” with Taylor’s longtime nurse, to whom the legendary actress gave “an expensive bracelet that was very meaningful to her.”

The blog notes that “Lindsay immediately fell in love with the bracelet the minute she saw it and was very vocal about how much she admired it. A short time later, the bracelet disappeared from the nurse’s house… on the very same day Lindsay had been to visit.”

“The nurse initially gave Lindsay the benefit of the doubt, thinking that she had just accidentally forgotten to take the bracelet off after trying it on,” says the site’s supposed “source,” who adds “that theory was soon shot down after she called Lindsay and she swore she did not take the bracelet and categorically denied having it in her possession. The nurse knew that was a blatant lie.”

After the nurse “threatened to call the cops,” reports RadarOnline, “one of Lindsay’s people eventually returned the bracelet to the nurse.”

Of course, RadarOnline’s story conveniently has the bracelet returned already.

So, why didn’t the webloid’s impeccable “source” reveal this supposed scoop when the bracelet was allegedly taken months ago?

While it’s true Lohan’s on probation from swiping a necklace from a store, this supposed theft NEVER happened.

A source close to Lohan, who’s acknowledged in the past when the actress was wrong, swears to Gossip Cop that this latest tale is “absolutely not true.”
