Lindsay Lohan May Star In First Play “Speed-the-Plow”
Lindsay Lohan might star in her first play — on the famed West End in London.
While in the city for a Jeremy Scott fashion show this week, the actress told The New York Times that she’s been in London preparing for a possible appearance in the David Mamet play “Speed-the-Plow.”
“It’s the first time I’ve done a stage play or anything like that,” she’s quoted as saying. “I’m nervous but I’m excited.”
Lohan’s potential live theater debut would happen in November.
“Speed-the-Plow” is made up of three long scenes about Hollywood executives, touching on the theme of art vs. commerce.
The show’s original production featured Madonna in the role of “Karen,” presumably the part Lohan would take.
