Lindsay Lohan is hitting back at James Franco for writing “Bungalow 89,” a bizarre short story in which he denies sleeping with a “damaged” actress named “Lindsay.”

Franco, who was one of the men listed on Lohan’s leaked “sex list,” publicly referred to her claims of a sexual relationship between them as “delusional.” When asked by the Daily Mail about her reaction to his story and assorted other public comments, Lohan responds, “When people say things about other people I don’t think it’s necessary, I’ve never talked about anyone else and I never will.”

The Mean Girls star notes, “If someone wants to do that for their own reasons, there’s nothing to say, I’m not in their head,” she explains, reiterating, “I would never do that. I didn’t read it.”

The actress maintains she documented her sexual conquests as an act of catharsis. “Here’s the thing it’s very short and very simple, I was in Betty Ford at the time. I was in AA and that’s a really personal thing and there are steps and processes that you go through,” she says of the list. “I don’t want to say too much because there is anonymity between people and mine was broken,” Lohan tells the paper. “That’s one of the hardest steps,” she says. “That’s something that is uncomfortable to have to say to anyone, let alone for it to be posted everywhere, so it’s not a joke, it wasn’t funny, it was cruel, it’s bad karma for whoever did it. It was sh***y.”

Thankfully, says Lohan, she has a strong circle of friends who support and protect her. “My friends don’t bring stuff up to be because… why bring up something that might hurt your friend, so I don’t pay attention to it,” says the actress. What do you think of Lohan’s response?
