I’m with Tara. I only know what the media says, and sometimes people have an agenda. I’m sure there will be the Lindsay haters and the Lindsay lovers with their thoughts. It’s clear you have access to Lindsay, and what I like is that you are fair. You present all the different sides. Keep up the good work!

I commented to her father, Michael Lohan, that Lindsay is a loving girl who needs more unconditional love ,tenderness and intimacy than rehab. He “totally agree” with me even with the idea that rehab may help but without those things she will be bad again.
Dr Drew want to help, but to invite to send her to the jail in that way only increases her paranoia and ressistance to be helped.
I strongly recommend to her friends to treat her with ” unconditional love ,tenderness and intimacy ” and forget planned rehab, because she will isolate to them even more.

Dr Drew IS a quack and a sell-out, and I’ll tell you this: if Lindsey Lohan is smart enough and aware enough to state that fact, when a lot of TV talk shows have swallowed his brand of ‘celebrity diagnosis by osmosis’ kool-aid and feature him as a kind of all-knowing therapy pundit who appeals to the unwashed and largely uneducated masses (lowest common denominator viewing audience), just makes me believe that Lohan is more on the ball than I thought. I tend to believe she will be just fine as well, especially now. Good luck Lindsey.

Oh, and re his comment about doing something illegal (buying drugs and stashing them in Lohan’s car to get her arrested to face not necessarily help, but jail time in a penal institution) – not only is insanity to the 10th power, but it is also unnecessary. Pinsky should know the law, it’s frighteing that he doesn’t: in order to get someone psychiatric care, it must be show that they are an endanger to themselves or to others. …and sorry, this doesn’t apply to people who like to drink or get high — if it did, parents across the country could go down to Daytona Beach right now, and commit their kids to mental institutions, ditto your drunk Grandpa on St paddy’s day, ditto the guy falling out of a bar at 2am (he could be committed, and his wife, mother or father could seize his property by power of attorney) — they make it HARD to do, for a reason…namely that people can’t steal you blind and take posession of your freedom and civil liberty due to your penchant for partying.

I totally agree about that Spinilli. By given her a platform to exclusively shoot down rumors that are not true or are true and she is just lying to GC, they are just enabling her.

spinilii, Dawn Marie, how do you know Lindsay is lying? Do you know her? Also it’s not like Gossip Cop is saying Dr. Drew is wrong. They’re just quoting Lindsay. They’re not calling what she’s saying “real” or “rumor” either. They’re definitely not making a judgement call, which is even more striking. And how do you know Gossip Cop isn’t telling her to get help, if she even needs it, which I don’t think you or I even know. All I’m saying is you can’t blame Gossip Cop for “enabling” her. That’s silly. Hopefully places are wrong and Lindsay is fine.

For the first time ever I agree with Lindsey. Dr. Drew is always on TV talking about celebrities’ motivations and mental states—-as if he knows any of them! I think he’s always looking for a photo-op, and I put no stock in what he says about anyone. Dr. Drew acts like he’s such an expert on every celebrity. I wouldn’t waste one minute of my time watching his show. (He has one, right??!!)
