Lindsay Lohan’s Probation Revoked; Actress Posts Bail, Released from Custody

Lindsay Lohan just had her probation revoked, and was handcuffed and taken into custody after a scheduled progress hearing on Wednesday.

Judge Stephanie Sautner was furious with Lohan for being kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Center for blowing off nine appointments, noting that with all of the actress’ past legal run-ins, “probation is a gift.”

Although Lohan has since begun community service at the American Red Cross, Judge Sautner refused to budge, saying, “That wasn’t my sentence and I’m not giving her credit for it.”

Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley argued that Lohan failed to appear at the DWC due to work commitments in Europe, but the incensed judge wasn’t swayed.

Lohan was then taken away in handcuffs, with her bail set at $100,000.

A probation violation hearing is scheduled for November 2 during which Lohan could be sentenced to jail for a year and a half.

UPDATE: Lohan has posted bail and been released from custody.

    What a liar she is. Saying she completed shoplifting class. Ha! finished it last night before court. Does she really think the judge is that stupid? I think her attorney should be disbarred for acting like such an idiot in the proceedings today. I hope they give her a couple of years in jail. Or maybe she will go out and “not party” tonight and o.d. What a joke that whole court thing was today. But I did notice that the walkway into court outside was very bare this morning. People are getting bored with her. And then she gets served with a lawsuit for her Betty Ford run in while on her way to court this morning. LOL And since when does she support her family??? Thought she didn’t have any money. Just another lie.

    i think that they should just get rid of the $10,000 bail. lohan has already messed up so many times that giving her another chance would just be a waste. in my opinion i think lohan should be jailed for 1 1/2 to 2 years in prison.

    What is amazing is all this stupidy original stems from crap she did a FEW YEARS AGO and should have been over a while ago. But, she just can’t play by the rules everyone does. Out of all the things that ‘MIGHT have gone wrong in her childhood, the worse was whoever told her and made her believe she was different and BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE and did not have to obey the rules we peasants have to obey. I strongly think Dina, her Momager can be thanked for that. Mainly, because she believes she is better than us lowlifes. Well, if you teach someone that they are better, they better be, because they are going to lose all outside support. But Dina and co. will never recognize this, she still believes Lindsay is some expert Actress, just waiting for that part, that producer and her time will have come and she will get an Oscar. (and the cashcow will be brimming with milk yet again.). Delusions must be nice until the bubble pops.

    I love Lindsay and hope she can get her life on track. She did make a mistake here, could have put in the extra effort, and hopefully she will from now on. She has a lot going on; I’d hate to be in her shoes. At least she has certain things clear but she still has MANY things to work on. Hope she can get all this sorted.
