Judge Ends Lindsay Lohan Probation

Lindsay Lohan is free!

In her final progress hearing on Thursday, Judge Stephanie Sautner said the Mean Girls star had completed all of her court-ordered requirements, and is now no longer on probation for the first time since her drunk driving arrest in 2007.

“She did it,” said Sautner, “She has done everything that this court asked of her,” and even did nine more days of community serivce more than she needed to do.

Sautner urged Lohan, “You need to live your live in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work.”

“I don’t expect to see you again,” the judge added.

Lohan replied, “I just want to say thank you. It has really opened a lot of doors for me. Thank you for being fair.”

The probation stemming from her DUI was extended last year after she pled no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store in Venice, California.

Lohan will now remain on informal probation until 2014, meaning all she has to do is obey the law.

She has a number of acting gigs lined up now that she’s free and clear — she’s set to appear on “Glee,” and will also star in Lifetime’s upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic.

    I agree. I really hope she does stay straight & makes a comeback as well. She’s such a good actress & can make it far if she stays away from people who are only using her.
    Yes, I am glad she went back to being a redhead. I never liked the blonde, it made her look way older than what she is.

    Looks like she is good to go, in control of her life once again, and lets see what she can do with it, I am happy for her and will continue to be happy for her, she is a good actress and her future looks promising.

    I’m so happy! She’s finally free since 2007! I don’t see why she’d get into a lot of trouble, the only big thing that happened within the past year and a half was the necklace thing. After that, it was just doing probation work. I’m so glad she can do all her necessary work finally.

    I’m happy for her, and I’m glad that she’s got the Glee appearance and the Elizabeth Taylor biopic to look forward to. I always loved Lindsay’s acting and I’m glad she’s back to doing what she loves. Great job to her, and I hope she’s learned from her mistakes and surrounds herself with positivity.

    This is my opinion but I think she hasn’t got what it takes to be a great actress again after all those stunts. I’m all for her come back career but she had too many chances & blew it. She can try but she’ll be labelled as a has-been.

    The problem is even if she does stay clean and sober anytime she is seen out at a club with friends or walking around late at night, ect. the tabliods are going to post ‘Lindsay is at AGAIN!!!’ It takes anyone who has gone through recovery a hell of self love to stay clean. People who try and go clean in Hollywood need to be strong in themselves and not let tempation (peer pressure) get the best of them. Plus, I’m sure Lindsay has burned enough bridges she is going to have to do a lot of pr to get herself back in the good graces. I really want her to make a come back just to say ‘look I CAN do it and I did it.’

    Honestly think, and hope, she’ll keep her nose clean from now on. She’s a fantastic actress and could become one of the Great ones. I too wish she’d go back to her true red head days. She’d be stunning! Go Lindsey, you got my vote!
