Even though pictures from the Lindsay Lohan issue of Playboy leaked online early, the magazine is selling BIG.

Hugh Hefner had initially been so concerned that the leak would hurt sales, he moved the magazine’s release date up to get it quickly on newsstands.

Well, it seems the leak and Lohan not promoting the issue on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” the way she was supposed to didn’t affect the sales too much.

Hefner just tweeted, “The Lindsay Lohan January-February Double Issue is breaking sales records.”

Gossip Cop has similarly learned that many newsstands have run out of the magazine, and that people have bought multiple copies of it.

The graphic Lohan photos were inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s shoot for Playboy.

if people are buying multiples, they are thinking that it will be a collectors item. Doubt it. Besides, I would not even know it was Lindsay in that front cover pic if no one told me it was her.

I predict a big comeback for this girl .It will be great to see not only for her but also to prove the media/haters who have taken pleasure in kicking her the last few years wrong

I am simply glad that she looks healthy on those pictures. She seems to have been gaining some weight and she looks healthier. There was some playboy model who was whining that “if she would have been Lindsey she would have worked out some before doing a playboy shoot” meaning Lindsey is too fat for her taste, but I think this weight looks good on her. Just look how awfully sick looking girl her younger sister is. I think there might be hope for Lindsey yet!

The thing with addiction is that it takes years to beat people think she can just snap her fingers and she is cured ,it doesn’t work that way .That’s why i find the medias treatment of her disgraceful .To take so much pleasure out of seeing someone struggle with addiction is disgraceful .As for the haters in the public that is a reflection of their own sad lives

Get your stories straight. Marilyn didn’t shoot those pictures “for Playboy”. She took them as a favor for a small-time photographer before she was famous and Playboy bought them years later.
