Lindsay Lohan to Play Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime Original Movie?

According to a report, Lindsay Lohan, who recently channeled Marilyn Monroe for her Playboy shoot, “may be taking on another screen legend, Elizabeth Taylor.”

Deadline says Lohan is “in talks for the female lead in Lifetime’s original movie Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story, chronicling the enduring love of movie icons Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton,” whose stormy relationship led them to marry and divorce each other twice.

Gossip Cop reached out to a rep for Lohan, who only offered, “We’re not commenting on hearsay.”

    I think Lindsay would be a verry good choice and as for those with the usual insults for her and saying Liz will be spinning in her grave err Liz was hardly an angel in her private life had a chaotic love life and addiction issues.Remind you of anyone?

    Lindsey may have her vices but then so did Liz Taylor..and regardless of what anyone thinks..Lindseys a talented actress..I wish she would get herself back on track..at one time she had the world at her feet and it would be interesting if nothing else to see her performance of the iconic Liz T..and besides all this people just love to hate her..so would like to see her knock it out of the ball park.

    By the late 60s the public hated her for her hard partying, promiscuous, late-for-work behavior. In the 70′s she was the tabloids favorite has been. It wasn’t until she became an AIDS activist that her image began to change. But LILO doesn’t have that much gay cachet.

    people your forgetting Liz couldn’t help her addiction to pain killers after a back injury sustained when she was 12 years old on the set of National Velvet. Lindsey couldn’t play her not for nothing I’d rather see Daisy Bevan paly young Liz Taylor upto Cat on A Hot Tin Roof & Melissa Newman play her in later years granted both of them knew her intimately their entire lives granted Melisssa’s mom shared a birthday with Liz February 27th
