Lindsay Lohan Charged with Felony

Lindsay Lohan has been officially charged with felony grand theft.

The actress has been accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store in Venice, California on January 22.

She will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. PT this afternoon.

Prosecutors are asking for bail to be set at $20,000.

The penalty for a felony conviction ranges from 16 months to three years in a California state prison. If the judge reduces the charge to a misdemeanor, it would carry a maximum prison sentence of one year.
