Lindsay Lohan Asks President Obama for Tax Cuts

Truth rating: 10

Everyone is weighing in on President Obama’s speech to close the Democratic National Convention.

Even Lindsay Lohan.

The actress jumped into the political fray late Thursday, tweeting her thoughts about taxation at Obama.

Obama’s Twitter account had posted the following quote from his address at the DNC: “I’ve cut taxes for those who need it: middle-class families, small businesses.”

Lohan replies, “@BarackObama we also need to cut them for those that are listed on Forbes as ‘millionaires’ if they are not, you must consider that as well.”

Hmm.

It’s not entirely clear whether Lohan was literally — and very specifically — advocating for tax cuts for individuals who have erroneously landed on the Forbes wealth list, or if the actress was making a broader point.

Lohan retweeted several other Obama messages over the course of the evening, without commentary.

Obama has not responded to Lohan’s suggestion, although he could still be dealing with Amanda Bynes’ DUI.

And today she’s offering “prayers” for Prince Harry via Twitter. She’s either so desperate to see her name alongside that of virtually any famous individual that it’s pathetic, or else she’s smoking far, far too much of some illegal substance–and probably both.

The ramblings of a frazzled mind, desperately hanging on for any type of significance. Truly sad.

Is anyone else trying to understand what she is trying to say??? Last time I checked, you complete a tax return where you provide information about your earnings on the return. You don’t reference a Forbes article on your estimated wealth when completing a return. So even if Forbes erroneously overinflated the reporting of someone’s wealth, it is irrelevant to their tax return. Which brings us back to what on earth is she talking about? She really needs to learn to edit her Twitter account. Don’t tweet advice on an area you have no expertise in.

I think she is saying that she is not a millionaire even though Fobes considers her as one.. Too bad being on Fobes has nothing to do with your taxes.
