Lindsay Lohan On Current Troubles: “This Too Shall Pass”

Clad in a bikini with jail-like pinstripes, Lindsay Lohan graces the cover of Maxim‘s September issue, in which she tells the magazine that she hopes to “move all press on me to focus on the work I do.”
Speaking about her goals for the next year — in an interview that took place before she went to jail for violating her probation — Lohan says she’s “feeling strong” and has a plan for her life.
“To focus on myself and my work,” she says. “Also, I’d like to do more work in India and travel to Malawi.”
The actress, who is currently in rehab, admits she’s “experienced a lot in my life,” but believes “this too shall pass.”
And what advice does she have for others going through rough times?
Lohan says to “stay true to yourself always.”
“At the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and be content with the choices you’ve made, and will make, in your life,” she explains. “Go with your gut!”
