REPORT: Lindsay Lohan’s Management Team Behind Attempted Intervention

Lindsay Lohan’s attempted intervention on Friday reportedly involved her entire management team.

The “Liz & Dick” star called the police before the intervention, organized by her dad Michael Lohan, could take place.

Now, TMZ says Lohan’s manager Evan Hainey, entertainment lawyer Dave Feldman, and criminal defense lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley were all on board with getting the actress into rehab.

In a series of emails obtained by the site, Michael Lohan alleges his daughter has been drinking, using cocaine, sleeping pills and adderrall, and all parties agree an intervention is necessary.

Gossip Cop has reached out to Michael Lohan, as well as Lohan’s rep and manager, and will have updates.

    Anyone with half a brain can see Lindsay is a complete mess and hasn’t changed. Unless she gets that intervention and real help she’ll probably end up joining the 27 club.

    do you people really believe Lindsays criminal lawyer Shawn, he manager Evan and her entertainment lawyer would have anything to do with Michael Lohan? he’s been proved a liar in the past and I wouldn’t be surprised of his manipulation now. Lets see what these people have to say, I’ll wait for THEIR statement.

    i agree, i don’t see it. even when lindsay was at her worst, shawn never co-operated with michael and lindsay isn’t in any way the same as she was then. this was all planned by her father to punish her for cutting off communication. nothing more.

    The one needing an intervention is Michael .I suspect he will get himself in deep shit over this latest publicity stunt of his and the next time he sees any of his family or Lindsays team will be in a court of law with him as the defendent

    While Michael Lohan may not be the greatest guy in the world, it would be very surprising if he said Lindsay’s management team were involved if they weren’t. Even Michael isn’t that stupid. You all had the tape recording of the phone call between Lindsay and her dad where she full stops admits her mom was doing cocaine and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out Lindsay was doing it with her. Having said that, I doubt Lindsay’s management team wanted the intervention made public and Michael did that without their permission.

    May God intervene, and help her, one thing ive learned is never give up hope. She can change, she needs a good preacher to help and guide her, which she obiously isnt getting from anyone. I pray for her.

    Regarding the intervention, Lindsay’s rep Steve Honig said in a statement, “It’s apparent Michael continues to be very focused on getting publicity for himself. Lindsay’s team is in no way aligned with him or his actions.

    Her dad Michael is more or less the sole reason behind all Lindsay’s troubles! – He has been using her to attack his ex-wife Dina for many years now, destroying Lindsay in the process. This intervention thing is just the latest move in that absurd and sad war.

    Lindsay never used cocaine habitually. She did do it at a few parties long ago but not recently. The cocaine that was found in her car when she crashed it for her DUI belonged to her bodyguard who was acting as a driver for Lindsay. The blood test taken after the incident show ZERO cocaine in her system (but quite a bit of alcohol).

    The only thing she abused besides alcohol was some painkillers she had a prescription for. She had been taking them since the DUI where she broke her right wrist. Disney made her film “Herbie” without the cast and it caused a lot of pain, thus the painkillers. Her first rehab cleared her of those, but it took a second rehab to get her off the alcohol. Since her probation she has not been photographed with alcohol so I guess she’s staying sober. After all, several paparazzi agencies have standing bounties for pictures of her ‘falling in’.
