Lindsay Lohan is NOT engaged to restaurant owner Dennis Papageorgiou, despite a new unfounded report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this false claim, which was manufactured by a site with a history of fabricating stories. We’re told it’s “total BS.”

According to the repeatedly discredited HollywoodLife, Lohan might “already have herself a new fiance,” following her recent breakup with Egor Tarabasov. The ill-informed site giddily exclaims how the “new rock on her left hand sure screams ‘YES.’” Without a single source to back up its speculation, the webloid alleges, “Lohan is celebrating Labor Day, and possibly a new engagement, in Greece.” (It should be noted Labor Day is NOT celebrated in Greece.)

The unreliable and oftentimes infantile outlet continues to blather about how Lohan was “caught sporting a bikini AND a giant rock on that special hand in Mykonos,” and how the diamond she’s been wearing “doesn’t look anything like the emerald engagement ring” she got from Tarabasov. Indeed, diamonds do not look like emeralds. After further filling its space with useless information, including how Papageorgiou has tattoos, the webloid ends it absurd article by saying Lohan has “a new man in town, and a new rock too.”

Gossip Cop is told by a source close to Lohan that once again HollywoodLies has published “total BS.” We’re assured the actress is NOT engaged to Papageorgiou. And if the outlet knew anything about Lohan, it would realize the diamond ring she’s wearing is not new. She’s had it for a very long time and been photographed with it, including in the photo above from 2015 . In fact, Gossip Cop busted stories in 2014 and again in 2015 that similarly and wrongly claimed Lohan was engaged when wearing that ring.
