Come on, get her out of that stupid place so she can get back to her life as it was – and making movies!

She needs to put it all behind her, learn that the system goes after celebrities extra hard (pure envy probably), and work around it. This means setting aside money for really good lawyers that can play the game as well as the judges who obviously hate celebrities. This way she’ll have a fighting chance if something should happen again, instead of getting shafted and railroaded like this time.

Lindsay is a typical setup of the tabloids & and paps to make money by putting her in a certain basket. She needs a strong support system.

Xenobyte, the system goes after celebrities harder only if they have bad reputation.
When they have good reputation they are softer.
Look the Charly Sheen’s case.
With bad reputation the can even be converted into public scapegoats;
Lindsay has been treated in that way by the judge and that is probably the reason she quitted.

Still Marsha Revel was EXTREMELY hard on Lindsay… All her violations of the probation were minor; two missed alcohol counseling meetings, nothing more. Both were explained by circumstances but the judge would hear nothing of it. She wouldn’t even acknowledge that Lindsay had done her best to attend.

In one case her lawyer had obtained a permission to postpone a meeting as Lindsay were in Africa filming a documentary. The permission seemed valid and was stamped and approved by the court’s clerk, but it appears that the request had to be filed in person (by Lindsay, not her lawyer), something very hard as the very reason for the request was that Lindsay was in Africa, unable to get back in time. Stupid rule – The only reasons to request a postponed meeting are the inability to be in LA where and when was required, which could be due to work, travel or a hospital stay for instance.

The other case was the lost passport. Lindsay was in Cannes to promote the documentary she made in Africa and on the last day her passport went missing. The airline wouldn’t let Lindsay on the plane without a passport and she had to wait two days for a replacement passport, and so she missed another meeting. The media went overboard showing pics of Lindsay ‘partying’ when she was supposed to be on a plane home. But the pics were from the day before and Lindsay was at a release party at a club. She wasn’t drinking either. She was working promoting the documentary and in Cannes that’s done as those late night parties.

The two SCRAM alerts were accidents. One detected alcohol but no alcohol was found in Lindsay’s blood and it was explained by a spilled drink directly onto the unit. The other detected ‘tampering’ but turned out to be sand from a photoshoot on the beach blocking the sensors.

It’s not like Lindsay flaunted the court’s rulings. Those were honest misses. But because the media kept attacking her, playing on her going to clubs all the time. But they conveniently forgot that she was dating Samantha Ronson at the time, and she spent a lot of time at those clubs – because she was DJ’ing there.

No, there was no reason to go hard on Lindsay. But Marsha Revel apparently wanted to show that Lindsay should have joined a convent as nothing less would be appropriate behavior. Lindsay tried to live her life and do her work, but that was completely wrong according to the judge. So Lindsay had to be punished hard… Poor Lindsay.
