Lindsay Lohan tells Gossip Cop she’s “healthy” in response to claim “She’s going to die”

TMZ ran with a story today – picked up all over – that blared, “Lindsay Lohan: ‘She’s Going to Die.’” But the actress herself tells Gossip Cop she’s fine.

TMZ reports that an unnamed individual, who is “extremely close to Lindsay,” says, “If she doesn’t get help soon, she’s going to die.”




According to the site, which features several unflattering photos, Lohan needs “help for substance abuse,” and people are “trying to convince Lindsay to go to rehab again.”

But Lohan is dismissing the TMZ report.

Lohan tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “I’m fine… I’m working and healthy.”

Gossip Cop would like to know if you believe these reports or Lohan’s own words.

    Lately she has been partying too much, sometimes she seems tired.
    But she looks quite better than last year with all the drama with Samantha R.
    I’m afraid that she could overload herself again with work & responsibilities,

    Lindsay is partying too much but she is also working hard, why isn’t that reported? I’m tired of these lame stories from ‘sources’ if they were really a friend of Lindsay they wouldn’t go running to TMZ , they just want ed the pieces of silver! Also those pics TMZ posted were taken out of context, why didn’t TMZ show the full set? they just picked the worst they could find. I believe Lindsay.

    HELLO… addicts are champion deniers!!!! Of COURSE she’s going to deny she needs help!!! No one who parties as much as she does is okay – celebrity or not. You really think she manages day-to-day operations of her clothing and tanning line? Then you probably think celebrity perfumes are actually created by the celebrity, too. Nicole Richie works. Nikki Hilton works. Lindsay parties – it’s her only hobby. Do you notice none of the party-girls she used to hang with are still around her? Did you ever think to ask why?

    DId it ever occur to you that those sources are so desperate to save her life, they’re willing to make public how bad the situation is? She won’t listen to people privately, but if public humiliation force her back to rehab then it’s worth it. Heath Ledger. Cory Haim. Britney Murphy. All had illegal prescription drugs in the home and were self-medicating psychological pain. It’s a miracle Lindsay is still alive.

    P.S. And the point is not that they picked ‘bad’ photos – the point is that she’s supposed to be a RECOVERING addict – and she’s clearly wasted in most of the photos, taken over a period of four months… the point is not to make her LOOK bad, but to show that she’s not sober, and she’s not doing okay.

But hey, she can contact “Gossip Cop” and tell them lies ALL THE TIME and they print it “Lindsay says it is all lies” She thinks that makes it true. She is going to die and the sad thing is the only ones that will care are her enablers and those stage parents. She is a trashtastic hot mess that needs to fade away. I would not pay to watch or watch for free anything she would ever have a role in. She is a bad example to other young actors who are starting out young like she did. So for all you young ones, whatever ol’ lush girl Lindsay does, do the opposite

    Hey Bec215, Arthouse and SusieMac – obviously GossipCop spoke to Lindsay, but I’m not so sure if you read this again and carefully that GossipCop necessarily believes Lindsay. Here’s why I think that:

    *They didn’t include their “real” or “rumor” thermometer. If they thought TMZ was totally off they would have given it a “rumor” or 0.

    *They also didn’t say it wasn’t true, like they do with other stories. In fact, they gave more of TMZ’s side, and printed Lindsay’s response.

    *They asked at the end do you believe TMZ or Lindsay

    Re-read the story with what I think Gossip Cop did. I think they’re just presenting both sides – which is very fair – but definitely not taking hers.

    Just my two cents.

    Tara, you are SO right. They definitely didn’t only take Lindsay’s side. Actually big kudos to GC for being, as Tara said, “very fair.”

    Truth is we all just read that she’s a mess and yes sometimes photos are accurate or can be misleading, like if a person closes their eyes as a photo is being taken, but not sure whether we’re all just believing what the tabs have jammed down our throats or if it’s true. Remember, Lindsay has to occasionally check in with the court and she hasn’t been busted for being on drugs.

    Either way, hopefully she’ll emerge “healthy,” as Lindsay claims she is.

    Sorry Guys! But I don’t believe a single word that comes out of her mouth. She looks incredibly unhealthy and has a permanent scowl on her face… frown lines and all… and she’s twenty-something?! She needs to use some of the botox in her ridiculous looking lips between her eyes. And what’s with this “mystery powder” coming from her shoes?????

    Lindsay is working on her new handbag line, she has just finished her 6126lifestyle collection which will be out in July, She is finishing her album, Machete comes out in a couple of months and she will start a new movie right after. Meanwhile, she continues to support her 6126 leggings range as well as the tanning product and a new tanning lotion…is that enough for the moment?

    You people know as well as I do that blogs and gutter websites want to portray Lindsay as helpless and hopeless which of course she isn’t. Yes, I do believe she parties too much and I also believe she has issues, but really, she has been working since she was three, her parents are useless, and the woman she loved is a useless coward.

    BTW snugglezz, if you are female, have you never used talcum powder in your leather shoes whilst barefoot? Just a tip…it prevents blisters.

    Oh I forgot to mention, who do you believe, the judicial system or the gutter websites? Lindsay receives good reports from the Right on Program who test her on a random basis, she hasn’t been busted for drugs, and she complies with all they ask of her. They are the facts, NOT speculation!

    GC as usual being fair and not taking either side in this girls mess of a life. I feel bad for Lindsay that she went from being one of the most up and coming young actresses to a alcoholic mess and probable drug addict. She is 23 years old but looks more like she’s 40. That alone says something about the type of life of partying she’s doing. She really needs to get help or TMZ will be the one that is right.

    I do believe her parties too much. she should get rest from all stuff. she should go to another country to relax for one month like that. she is she has been working since she was three,she is working hard too. we should proud her career.. she is the one of most talented and beautiful person.ppl should let her to live her own.she is still young. she needs some entertainments too. her parents are useless, and the woman she loved is a useless coward.May be she can help lilo too. lindsay has good career.
