“Lindsay Lohan has a new lady in her life who is battlefield ready,” begins a TMZ piece that claims the actress is dating highly attractive, former Israeli Defense Force soldier Eilat Anschel.

According to the site, “Things have been getting pretty serious over the last month.”

TMZ explains Lohan used Anschel as a “shoulder to cry on” during her current legal ordeal, and then “things just evolved as they do.”

Lohan is “totally obsessing over the chick,” adds TMZ.

Well, not exactly.

Lohan herself tweeted, “@ilikeueilat [Anschel] is one of my best friends! and best friend ONLY – just an fyi.”

Sorry, but not everyone falls for a woman in uniform.
