Lindsay Lohan Completes Community Service; Expected To Be Off Probation
Lindsay Lohan has finally completed her community service, with one day to spare. Back in February, Lohan was hit with an additional 125 hours of community service when a judge didn’t count more than half the time Lohan’s team said she had completed. There were questions three months ago about how Lohan clocked the hours, including trying to get credit for performing in “Speed-the-Plow” in London and meeting with fans after the shows. Now, there’s no disputing that Lohan worked eight-hour shifts for a number of weeks at Duffield Children’s Center, a nursery school in Brooklyn, and has paid her debt to society.
Gossip Cop is told the prosecutor is satisfied this time around, and doesn’t feel Lohan cut any corners. Lohan’s lawyer is slated to be in court on Thursday to show proof that the actress successfully completed her community service. Once that’s signed off on, Lohan will officially be off probation.
Lohan’s probation all stems from a 2012 plea deal she made after she drove a Porsche into the back of an 18-wheeler in California, and lied about not being behind the wheel. In response to finally meeting her legal requirements, the starlet posted on Instagram, “Hard work pays off. Thank you to all those that allowed me to volunteer while in nyc. God bless you all. Amen.” Tell us what you think about Lohan finally completing her community service and being off probation.
