Lindsay Lohan gets attacked by her on-screen lover in a new preview from her upcoming movie, The Canyons.

In the clip, Lohan’s character Tara is searching for her phone, only to find her beau Christian (James Deen) has hidden it.

But as she tries to retrieve it, Christian suddenly grabs her and launches in to harrowing physical and verbal assault.

The funny thing is that as bad as this is sure to be, it will still be better than Liz & Dick.

Whoa! That was intense. As someone that has witnessed domestic abuse, they definitely captured how it is. Looks like it will be a decent movie.

Not sure how the movie will be but I like the scene, I hope that this will give her more of a chance to have emotional scenes and prove that she can still act.
