Lindsay Lohan Responds to Michael Lohan’s HIV “Claim”

Lindsay Lohan has spoken exclusively to Gossip Cop after her father’s Twitter account allegedly claimed that she is HIV positive.

In tasteless, since-deleted tweets that he says are the work of a hacker, Michael Lohan allegedly tweeted that Lindsay is “living with HIV” and had an affair with music mogul Tommy Mottola when she was 17.

“He’s a grown man and has done the exact same things on TV/interviews, [so] why wouldn’t he lie on Twitter, and everywhere else!” Lohan tells Gossip Cop.

“He just want money – and he’s using me, my name, my status, my mother, brothers and sister for the cash to pay for [another] wedding.”

Lindsay’s response comes after two supposed tweets on Michael Lohan’s account earlier today.

“It’s time you learned the truth,” wrote Michael Lohan. “The truth about Tommy Motolla (sic) engaging in an affair with my then-17 year old daughter.”

He allegedly followed with this stunner: “The truth about my daughter living with HIV for the rest of her life as a result of the decisions she has made,” before erasing both messages.

In recent days, the Lohans have engaged in a very public fight laced with accusations and mutual threats of legal action. Michael Lohan claims to fear for the well being of younger daughter Ali Lohan under Lindsay’s watch, and reportedly is seeking a conservatorship over Lindsay. The sisters and mother Dina Lohan wish to enact restraining orders against Michael.

Gossip Cop reached out to Michael Lohan, but he did not respond.

    Oh, come on GossipCop. She is not even out of bed yet if its 1:10 on east coast, it’s 10:10 on west coast. I think all this stuff about her is crap. Sick of hearing about anyone in her “family”.     Ahhh GC Michael Lohan already released a statement saying his twitter was hacked and he never wrote that and is disgusted by it. If anyone should understand that it’s Lindsay. She has certainly claimed enough times that her own twitter has been hacked. Come on GC. I expect better from you. Quit enabling Lindsay.

    Well if it is true than I would completely understand her downward spiral. I seriously wish someone would get ahold of this girl and help her out. No one has ever said she’s not talented, but the antics are forcing even those of us who love a good comeback doubt her ability to pull and Robert Downey Jr, and think that she swimming in the Corey waters.

    When the LAPD is worried about you, and half of America is betting on your demise, it’s time to take a good look at yourself and say enough. Clearly her parents are not qualified to help her I just wish there was someone whom she really really respected that would help her. I guess the bigger problem is that you need to admit you need help first.

    GC, even though we appreciate you getting the “real story” (although when it comes to the Lohans, who knows what’s real anymore), Lindsay needs to just stop addressing her father in the media. That’s what he wants.

    It’s sad, because Michael Lohan is actually telling the truth. He didn’t write those nasty things about his daughter, but his Twitter was not hacked, either.

    Someone (or someones) from the gossip blog Oh No They Didn’t photoshopped a fake screencap of Michael Lohan’s Twitter claiming that he wrote those nasty things. Because of the obviously morally bankrupt person(s) that fabricated this hoax, this is has been picked up by the mainstream media, reported as fact, and has further ruined an already strained relationship between a father and his daughter. This is most likely also grounds for a huge libel lawsuit against the people of Oh No They Didn’t and Livejournal, but we shall see.
