Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage, her spokesperson confirms.

“It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby,” states the rep.

During their “deeply distressing time,” the couple has asked for privacy.

Allen and boyfriend Cooper announced her pregnancy in August.

The singer had an earlier miscarriage in 2008.
