Rapper Lil Phat Shot Dead in Atlanta

Rapper Lil Phat was killed in a shooting in Atlanta late Thursday.

The performer, whose real name was Melvin Vernell III, was just 19 years old.

He was found, reportedly shot multiple times, in a parked car near the Northside Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A police spokesperson said authorities are searching for “two black males… seen running from the location at the time of the shooting.”

Phat was part of the Trill Entertainment group and had released Trill 4 Life with Webbie in 2010.

    Why is there so much violence in the world?? There was another shooting in Atlanta yesterday. Two young men who killed each other outside a funeral home, Supposedly in retaliation for the murder of the young man whose funeral they were attending.

It’s Boosie and guys like him’s job to keep sheeple like you focused on bread and circuses while the real power brokers move in the shadows.
