Lil Kim To Be Sued For Skipping Meet-And-Greet At The Manor Club In Fort Lauderdale
Lil Kim is facing a potential lawsuit for reportedly skipping out on a scheduled meet-and-greet on Saturday prior to performing at the 5-year anniversary of the Fort Lauderdale night club The Manor.
The rapper was paid $23,000 to mingle with 100 fans, who spent $75 to $100 to meet her before she hit the stage but, according to the The Manor, Lil Kim showed up late, missed the meet-and-greet, and forced the club to refund those who had hoped to see her before the show.
The club took to Facebook on Sunday to apologize to its patrons, as well as to post a photo of Lil Kim’s contract. “The Manor’s Owners and Staff would like to thank our customers and supporters for joining us to celebrate our fifth anniversary last night,” the statement started. “Unfortunately due to acts beyond our control the ‘Meet & Greet’ never happened.”
The statement continued, “Due to upcoming litigation, per our attorneys, we are unable to get into further details about last night’s events. The contract is posted for our customers to come to their own conclusions. Everyone who purchased tickets for the ‘Meet & Greet’ has been FULLY Refunded for their troubles. Thank you for your loyal support.”
But Lil Kim claimed on Twitter she was never made aware of the scheduled pre-show meeting, writing, “Fort Lauderdale. I love y’all so much. Sh*t was LIT 2night!!! Please get ur $$$ back from the club. I never knew about a meet n greet.” She continued, “U know I love u and I would never deceive U guys. But business is business and they are #jankypromoters #badbusiness #FortLauderdale.”
