Lightwire Theater Gets Standing Ovation From All 3 AGT Judges (VIDEO)

Only one act proved itself worthy of a standing ovation from the three “America’s Got Talent” judges during Tuesday’s quarterfinals: Lightwire Theater.

The group, made up of puppeteers who create larger-than-life characters with the help of neon and black lights, blew away the judges with their routine.

“What a way to end the show! You brought it home,” Howie Mandel told them, going on to declare that they deserved to go to all the way to the finals.

Sharon Osbourne agreed, calling the act “spectacular.”

Added Howard Stern, “No disappointments here…. That’s a big stage show. That’s a million dollar act, no ifs, ands or buts.”

    I liked Lightwire Theater, and I think they have a shot at winning for their sheer ingenuity and ability to put on a better show than last year’s similar group did with dancing. I think it is a bit too cartoon looking for a mature audience and they will have to make the act a bit more “futuristic” rather than “Disneyeque.” My Dish co-worker and I love to watch AGT ever since he introduced me to it some years ago, and we make it an affair for both of our families to get together. Now, we watch another show, usually MasterChef, because we save time since I we can watch commercial free with Auto Hop, on PrimeTime Anytime recordings. That is nice because we maximize our entertainment while we’re together, and see great performers like “Lightwire Theater.”
