Homeless Man Arrested And Tasered On ‘Ray Donovan’ Set After Approaching Liev Schreiber
Police officers arrested and tasered a homeless man in Venice Beach last Friday after he wandered onto the set of “Ray Donovan” and tried to approach star Liev Schreiber.
Filming on the Showtime series reportedly had to be halted late last week when an unidentified vagrant intrusively walked onto the set and refused to leave. When cops approached the shirtless and shoeless man and asked him to move, the homeless tried to punch one of the officers and then attempted to flee on foot. Five policeman pursued the man, and a taser was ultimately needed to take him down. The individual was later booked for battery on an officer.
On “Ray Donovan,” which is currently shooting its fourth season, Schreiber plays a professional “fixer” who covers up scandals surrounding Los Angeles’ rich and famous. It’s unknown at this time which other actors were present at the time of the disturbance, however, neither Schreiber nor anyone else working on set of the hit series, was harmed during the incident. There’s also no indication what the homeless man’s motivation, if any, was when he walked onto the set and tried to accost Schreiber. The actor has not mentioned the incident on his social media accounts.
