Liam Payne Slams Daily Mail And Internet Haters Calling Him “Fat” – SEE PHOTOS
Liam Payne mocked the Daily Mail and Internet haters who have called the in-shape singer fat.
After the vacationing One Directioner did a sexy strip tease and jumped off a boat in France last week, the British tab wrote that Payne “revealed his not-so-toned torso while in St Tropez.”
OK, maybe he doesn’t have a six-pack, but he’s certainly not fat — or out of shape in any way.
Regardless, after the cheap shot by the Daily Mail and others on the web, Payne fired back on Sunday.
He mocked the idea of himself being “fat,” and also criticized how the media presents unhealthy images of people who do not have the exact physique of “an Olympic swimmer.”
Payne jokingly posted on Instagram a photo of himself with his shirt stuffed (above and below), along with the message, “I mean OH MY GOD I’m just so fat these days I think I need help! quick someone take the cookie jar.”
More seriously, he also shared on Instagram the Body Mass Index (BMI), showing that he’s well within the normal range.
Captioned next to the BMI (below), Payne wrote, “Now just because I’m sick of seeing this everyday so I just want to clear up what the media do to people these days. Is it wrong to be normal? Or do I have to look like an Olympic swimmer just to get your approval into the cool kids or can I accept that the person I truly love thinks I’m the coolest kid in town anyway? Think I’ll vote the second one ;) enjoy your day people.”
What do you think of Payne’s response?
