Liam Gallagher Slams Kanye West Brit Awards Performance As “Utter Sh*t”
Liam Gallagher slammed Kanye West’s Brit Awards performance as “utter sh*t,” and said the rapper’s song “All Day” is a “million miles away” from his older work. As Gossip Cop reported, on Wednesday West debuted the new song during the music awards show at London’s O2 Arena, where his wife Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift were seen dancing in the front row.
Not long after West finished his performance, Gallagher took to Twitter to write, “Kanye West. Utter sh*t. LG x.” Gallagher, who’s not known for being genteel, followed up the initial insult with a tweet that read, “@kanyewest… And you’re a million miles away from College Dropout,” referring to West’s 2004 album, before adding, “That’s artistry. LG x.”
“All Day,” which features up-and-coming artist Allan Kingdom and West rapping the N-word over and over, is the fourth single from his new as-of-yet titled album. West released the first single, “Only One,” featuring Paul McCartney on vocals and keyboard in January, and followed that up with “FourFiveSeconds” with McCartney and Rihanna, and then “Wolves,” with Sia and Vic Mensa. Gallagher hasn’t critiqued those songs yet. NOTE: The video is no longer available. But if you saw the performance, tell us whether or not you agree with Gallagher.
