Leslie Carter, Nick and Aaron’s Sister, Dies

Leslie Carter – the sister of Nick and Aaron Carter – has died.

She was 25.

A spokesperson for the Carter family confirmed the sad news to Access Hollywood.

She died in upstate New York on Tuesday, although no details were given about the cause of death.

“Our family is grieving right now and it’s a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter,” the family said in a statement. “We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time.”

Like her brothers, Leslie Carter was involved in music.

Her single “Like Wow!” appeared on the Shrek soundtrack.

She was also part of the “House of Carters” reality television show.

    No1 dies a t 25 unless drugs are involved. my bet is presciption meds and alcohol. A suicide basically. Weak minded bimbo is better off. A new mother would not want to leave her child unless the drugs ruled her life like they always do.

    i wish the whole family prayer from my family to theres i dont know what i would do if i was in there place. to lose someone so young. the carters lost a great daughter sister and mother but god has just gained an angel. She has her wings.

    I read a biography on Aaron when I was in junior high, Leslie had medical problems, so she likely passed away from those, not drugs.

    They can, but it does sound like it was drugs as she was having substance abuse problems. Another article said the coroners report has already come in and found nothing. So that means it’s all about waiting on the toxicology report. This time, the person is probably right. It’s likely to be drugs.

    But, as others have said, it’s not always the case. Someone in my school died of natural causes at 14. He had an unknown heart condition.

    I think you guys are missing the point. Leslie was young when she died true. But she could have died from anything. :( It’s not like Leslie didn’t have her share of problems at home. The only one in that family who seemed to be sane was Angel.
